The doc's concern is that there is more damage then told by the blood work numbers, so she wants a biopsy. In general, I've been told to watch the protein input, because it's rough on the kidney's. But I am wheat intolerant and can't eat that either. OH YEAH, what's left, boring veggies and fruit, which I love, but that's a sugar too. I'll post the results when I get em'. thanks for your response. What are your levels?
I guess I need to read up on your disease, will do that when I get home.
If you can't have wheat, have you tried spelt bread? They have it @ the health food store. A bit more expensive, but at least it's not wheat. Are you able to have quinoa, rice, barley, any other grains?
Let me know what your results are!
My levels are as follows: GRF is 85-90 (this is percentage of kidney function), Creatinine is 1.2, not sure of blood urea nitrogen, will get those results when I go back to the neph.
