HRT - after Total Hyst
 

I had a total Hyst and Oophorectomy (everythings gone) and wondered if anyone else is struggling with that or with HRT. I feel like I've gained since I had surgery.

I had a total hysterectmy too and I found my system seemed to slow down. HRT worked for me for awhile but tomorrow I am informing my dr. that I have been off of HRT for almost a year now. Too much cancer in my family for me to take the risk anymore. I found I had to change my exercise to sort of "shock" my system back to losing again. don't know if this helps any

I am taking HRT due to menopause. I've been on it a couple of years now and have gained about 5 solid pounds right around the thighs and stomach area. It doesn't look bad, and I'm probably the only one that feels/knows it, but it bothers me! It's definitely harder to loose in this time of my life! Even walking each day and watching my intake doesn't seem to help...
