Hi guys-glad you had a good time Anne. I am getting in FL mode specially since we are going to have bad weather half the week-went out to eat with brother and wife -didn't do too bad til the taramisu and it was awesome -4 of us had the same piece but I did my share-I did walk yesterday. And will again-sinuses still bad but better. I hate to go on medication -I guess I'll try the hot and sour soup trick today-Ill check the points-I have this grat book with all the points in it.Hope everyone has a nice New Years-we are supposed to go to the church and help out in the kitchen for first Night-they have Christian music and food there. Had to get up before 7 because I have Ross today; tomorrow and Friday, too. Hubby will be home on Wed. and wanting to take down all the decorations...that leaves me Thursday!

I have to go get a shot in my ankle this afternoon and then I'm supposed to stay off my feet a few days! LOTS OF LUCK ON THAT ONE!

Meme- Who is a morning person? Well my kids and hubby are. They open their eyes and go. It takes a couple hours for me.

Happy. I am glad that you had a good Holiday. I still have fruit Cake and pie in the fridge. I was going to toss it last night ,but, hubby says no. He can eat his share and still lose.

Mima- Try to have a good time. At least we don't have snow. I for one would like to see it ,just for the excitement of seeing it fall.

Notlookingback- WW says just move. Lots of people walk in malls. I wish I was near enough to one to be able to do that. The trouble is ,I can't go to the mall and not spend money.

well i went out with my son to do chores of taking things back and we walked boscov's and i bought, we walked kmart and i bought there and then we went to the grocery store and i walked it but bought there too so now we are home and i am making a dinner for a shut in for our church so i must get started maybe i can walk some more later i can't wait for my pediometer to get here to see how much walking i really do in a day .......later

Dear Three M's: Liked your pictures (to one of the M's). Marlene, thanks for the story about the WW leader. Our leader got fired (so I was told because I had already quit and gone to TOPS and did not attend WW meetings anymore) for something I didn't understand.

In the year 2-0-0-3, I plan on goal being for me. I had planned a similar goal for earlier years too.

yes i am excited about going to tops next tues nite i need discipline, discipline, discipline...............................i promise myself every morning that i am going to do good but by nite time i am going crazy and then my son always wants desserts so i have been making low carb, low calorie desserts and he likes them oh well it will be a new lifetime for me i am going to do it

I took Ross to McDonald's for lunch right before my Dr. app...some IDIOT had just mopped the floor around the drink counter and didn't put up a 'wet floor' cone...soooo...of course...I FELL! Now I'm so sore all over - I can barely move anything without a muscle hurting somewhere! Plus...Dr. put another shot in my ankle and told me to stay off my feet...I said 'no problem...I just fell so I'm sure I'm going home and straight to bed!' He wanted to put a 'walking cast thing' on my foot and ankle to keep it from moving..said I'd have to keep it on there until Friday. I said, "Oh man...that's all I need right now." I asked him if he coudn't just put the shot in there and TRUST me to stay off it! I told him I was already going to be sore from falling and those casts throw your whole body off...usually make something else hurt when I wear one of them. He said, ok but that he wanted to see me back in 2 weeks. HERE WE GO AGAIN! I hate my body!

I bought a bunch of stuff for Christmas next year at the craft mall..cute stuff..snowmen and santa's..they like them too! Like Ally I cannot pass up a good sale! I went to town to mail something and by a plastic storage container for the new stuff I got this Christmas now I need to store the stuff I bought today for next Christmas too! Need a big store room on my house to keep all my gifts! :eek:

Poor you Meme-hope you recover quickly-I walked around Walmart for almost 2 hours yesterdayv while thay put new tires on!!!And pushed a heavy carriage. Going to Brad's church tonight to help in the kitchen for a while-it's raining a bit-going to bake for the church and get the clothes out for FL-from what I can see, it's in the 70's in Venice. Head is getting better-Happy New Year everyone-mt goal is yo get back in size 10/12 where I was before New Orleans. Mima

Meme - I hope you are doing ok today. It is terrible to fall as it jolts everything that can be jolted. Stay off your foot. You are right about having the cast on - it throws your whole body out of wack. My lower back and right hip is giving me some trouble, but that is because of the difference in the leg heights. I even wear a shoe - try to get it the same height, but I don't think that is possible.

I hope that each and everyone has the best year ever. It would be great if we all could have awakened this morning brand new.
I am starting the year with the first cold I have had in a year:(
I guess that will give me a good excuse to do nothing. I told my hubby not to expect any cooking etc. out of me today. It will be can soup day here. He could care less. He is good that way. If I gave him can products. I have always said he doesn't like to eat. I wish I was a little bit like that. No weight problem!
