Wow!!!! I have not been here for awhile due to the fact I have not gotten any email from 3FC..
The shoulders are waiting for warm weather.. Pain is all I know lately.. We were in the 40's this morning. I know for some of you that is warm. Not me. It will be in the 70's this weekend and then probably go back down to cool weather.
Welcome to the new people..
There were two more cops killed in St.Petersburg this week. Our son finished the academy. Frankly I hope he will go back to architecture and not take or get a job as a policeman or anything in law enforce man unless it is a desk job.. His wife feels much the same way.

Another day spent pretty much in bed. Got up in time to shower and make a pot of veg soup for supper. There was a time (not so long ago) when I would have felt guilt for being 'lazy' ... but I hurt so bad I just don't care what anyone thinks anymore. There is a lot that I need to get done & I hate that the days are FLYING by and I'm not getting any of that done, but I'm in no condition to do it so there's no sense worrying about it. One of two things will happen - I'll either feel better some day and get it done, or it will still be there for hubby's next wife to do! :p

Now Meme, when I told you, you had to learn to say "NO", I didn't mean you had to stay in bed!! My goodness girl, what the heck is going on with you? Relentless pain is so awful. I sure hope that something happens and that you begin to feel better.

Joanne - sorry you are having such cold weather (for you) and still hurting so much. In this life, a person has to do what they feel is their calling. You son must feel that, or he wouldn't be doing it. I know I would worry if it was my son, but nothing can be done, as it is ultimatley his decision.

Mima - glad you found something to help with the hip pain. Stretching it out is a good thing to do. Hope you like your carpet.

Loopy - good for you going to WW and losing 2 pounds. Might not be all that much, but good eating habits are never wrong. Must take a look at the new program. Maybe next Wednesday, I'll go. Food sure does make a difference. Chocolate is NOT a good thing for me to be eating, as it always brings on a migraine. Good thing I don't LOVE it. Cheese, brings on conjestion for me. I am trying to give up dairy, wheat,sugar,yeast and see what will happen. It is a process of elimination.

Still have this dang fatigue. Dr. thinks it might be from the heart either beating to fast, or slow. Need some bloodwork done, so guess I'll just fast and have them draw it in the morning, when I go to work.

Son brought his new jeep by so I had him run me to Walmart to get some boxes and groceries. He was just glad to be out driving it! Still too cold to take outside lights down and I still have them on. Gonna miss them when I shut them off. Thought I would get them down this weekend but it is not warming up much and everything is frozen in the ground or to the bushes. Neck is a bit better today since I have not been overdoing but that won't last long.

Meme..hope you feel better soon. I too have been resting a bit and not making dh supper when I am tired. I think your dh helps you out more than mine does though.

Happy...are you giving all those things up at once or one by one to see what works. I need to do something like that too. Thanks for the emails:)

Joanne....warmer weather should help your shoulder. Mine is abit better right now...until I do something..like take the lights down outside!

Mima...glad you found some exercises...I do alot of hip stretching..hope you get relief soon.

Candice, my husband does help me a lot. I know I complain about him smothering me (did you ever notice how smothering is 'mothering' with a 's' in front of it?) but he really is great when I'm sick. Don't know what I would do without him sometimes ... then at others I'd like to just smack him up-side the head! What's up with these men anyway. Sometimes he can say the goshawfullest (is that even a word) things and then, like 2 days ago, bring me a dozen roses for no reason. Just said he knew I was feeling bad so he got me flowers.

Something's gotta change, though. I'm thinking about cutting out all sugar, white stuff, red meat and junk foods and see if that will get me out of the bed and off of the couch. I just got in a few groceries last night, first time I've been out of the house since last Sun, so I'll have to go pick up some ww bread and fruit if I do that. I'm about ready to just eat lettuce and drink water if it would help!!!

Meme..alot of it could be this weird weather this winter. January is a bad month for me...always feel like hibernating. I need to get back to my healthy way of eating and get in 3 good months before my next bloodwork. Have a wedding to go to in June and bought a dress for it last year so need to fit into that too and it was snug when I bought it. Meme..he is spoiling you!

I guess we are gonna get a wopper of a snow storm lasting for 3 days next week. Got some of my lights down, a bit at a time but I miss them...love my lights! They make me happy!!!!!!!!! The rest I waat to leave a bit longer I think.

I've been hibernating. It's part pain and part just that I want to focus on me right now.

Anyhow, augh, my right shoulder has developed this weird tightness and pain that sometimes shoots through to the front of my right side of my chest. ICK.

It seems better the last few days. Been sleeping more, also have been careful and restricting it's range of motion, which is annoying but necessary. meh.

Oh well, it feels way less tight today. All I can hope is tomorrow is even better.

I wrote a blog today about fibro and exercise. (Link below) Like I mentioned in another thread, this winter has been better than last and I hope next is better than this one was.

WE are right smack dab in the middle of this Histroy breaking snowstorm!!! Everything is shut down for the next 3 days around here and stores are sold out of stuff and the major part of it is not even here yet. They say we might lose power for days, hope not. DH has no gas for the generator and says he forgot how to hook it up and doesn't want to fool with it. If we do get 2 foot of snow we would not beable to get to it anyway to hook it up!

Morning. Been watching the news and Candice, you seem to have been hit the hardest with that storm. Hope you are able to dig yourself out. Looked terrible. That was one HUGE storm, for sure.

Meme - What's up??? Time to find a new Dr, perhaps? You are worrying me, as all the time I have known you, you have had terrible pain, but it sounds like you are down for the count at the moment. Sending you hugs my friend, and praying that you will regain your strength and have a lot less pain.

AuntLoopy - hope you are doing well on your WW program. Any pound LOST is a good one.

Not much going on here. Painwise, have been doing ok, UNTIL yesterday. Bent over to get something, and my back did a number. Must try get to the chiro later today. Been have a terrible time with this Atriel Fib this past week. Don't know what gives with that. Heart feels like it's flopping around like a dead fish! Guess, one of these days, when it's misbehaving I will go to ER. Fastest way to see a Cardiologist. It's always something. This getting old is NOT for the faint of heart, that is for sure!!!

Where is everybody????? The storms must have locked everyone in..
It is in the 70's and some places 80's here in Florida. Come on down and get warm.
When we ride out to the beach ,I see car tags from many northern states. As far as Canada. They escape the cold and come here to Florida. Soon they will be moving here. When someone asks me where I am from and I say Florida and have lived here all my life they hardly believe it.I guess we are getting to be rare. My hubby was born right here in Tarpon Springs.
We have been hoping for rain but so far none in a couple weeks.. Everything is really dry..
Well ,I better get busy .

Hi Joanne, glad you are having such nice warm weather. I would say that those Canuks you see are from Eastern Canada. Most Western Canadians head for Arizona. My brother lives there 6 months out of the year and loves it.

Hey Happy.. My brother lives in Az year round.. I have tried to get him to move back to Florida. His wife will have no part of it..She rules the roost..even though he is not happy there..

Took me 3 days to dig out! We had a service come and do the drive but they misses abunch so I did it. Still fighting my yeast infection...been a killer pain wise and the meds make me feel so icky. No snow this week for once:)
