Fibromyalgis 62
Good morning all.
I hope you are all having a nice weekend. Candice - you MUST be back by now. Meme - I hope things have calmed down for you. Ally - When it is too hot, I really hurt. All my joints ache. I like warm weather, but not that hot stuff. Mima - getting stuff done. Good for you. Serenity - Glad you enjoyed your visit with your daughter. Now back to your yard. Joanne - Hi. Hope that you are not in too much pain. I went to the Dr. on Thursday. I have developed Tendonitis in my heel (achilles tendon) and also in my elbow from the accident. It is on the inside instead of the outside and it causes pain right into the bicep and shoulder. Also, I am having a terrible time with fatigue, since Wednesday. Just like someone pulled the plug and drained all my energy. Hopefully, I will wake up tomorrow and feel better. I have been sticking to this ww diet and have lost nothing. Any suggestions? I write down everything and I am within my points. :( I am so frustrated with this diet. I am now going outside to sit on the deck for awhile, and soak in some sunshine. |
I finally read your posts from last week... Meme, I hope your mother recovers and is capable of caring for herself. My thoughts are with you. And take it easy....let the hospital staff take over.
I saw a special on CNN last nite while I was surfing the channels. It was 7 habits of skinny people ...... 5 small meals a day, ;at least an hour of exercise a day, plus add little bits of other activities in (stairs, park in the last row in the parking lot), high carb low fat, weigh yourself often.....there were more but of course I have forgotten them already. This was in the middle of a show about two very very obese people who had taken off the weight and kept it off although the odds were against them. They came from obese families..so genetically they were predisposed and also environmentally based on the bad food choices they made. The man and woman both became obsessed with exercise. The woman eventually taught aerobics. They forced themselves to choose different eating habits and to stick to it. But the diet guy say they are the exception....for most, dieting alone does not work. Have to have a complete lifestyle change. So I am back to obsessive walking....til the weather gets hot again!!!:dizzy: |
No...things haven't calmed down...far from it! I know exactly what you mean about someone pulling the plug on your energy! I'm sooooo tired. I don't know if I can face another week. I hired a sitter to sit with Mom again tonight through Wed. night...can't think any further ahead than Wed. She is still in the hospital. She goes through "spells" of lucidity, deep sleep and agitation. She talked to me several times today and knew what she was saying. I told my daughter tonight it would be a blessing if she didn't know what was going on. I have had a little more help over the long weekend but tomorrow I'm more or less on my own again...the Dr. isn't giving us much hope. If she pulls though, she will bel paralyzed and may even be unable to eat any solid food. She wouldn't want to live like that...in a nursing home and unable to care for herself! But...it's out of my hands. I called her sisters and brother and talked with hubby and the kids and they ALL agreed that I'm doing the right thing by not having a feeding tube, etc. That's not what she wanted! It's in God's hands now...I'm just praying for His mercy!
Here goes another week! |
Hi
Hi to Meme-one day at a time-our prayers are with you.
Hey Serenity and Anne-what's with this smog from Canada we are getting. Are you near the fires? Ally-That's right on about weight maintenance , you have to change everything!Bad food weekend for me-wedding on sat and cookout on sun. But I do have a lot of running around to do. Hi Joanne-Candice-Hope things are good. We have been busy relaxing. I saw Alison on Friday, we went to a wedding Sat. night-it was wonderful. And then a cookout after church on Sunday at my daughter-in-law's father's house. Played croquet and jarts.Nice time. Now we are getting ready for our big cookout Sat. Could be 100 people. But I have this great husband who is right there helping out. Tenant moved out. It's nice to talk and not think someone is listening to what you are saying. Getting smog from the Canadian forest fires so it was cloudy yesterday. Bye for now. Mima |
Hi everyone
Happy - You should have been at my WW meeting on Weds. They said if you are within your points and not loosing it is all "ATTITIDE" lol. That as soon as you develop a positive attitude again, you will begin loosing again. Well that may be so, I am not sure about that, but several people agreed with it. Ally - would you really want to teach 10 aerobic classes a week plus other excercise?? I was not impressed with her obsessive exercise, but I thought the guy was really doing good. CNN got me walking again, I walked 40 mins this morning at the mall. Meme - You will feel good just knowing you have followed her wishes. God Bless You. Mima - The smoke you are getting is SMOKE not smog, from the fires in northern Quebec. I am in the center of Canada and Happy is on the west coast so we dont get the smoke from that fire. I think smoke is more damaging to the lungs than smog. Candice - I have an old bike with a basket of flowers against a tree in my yard. It looks really pretty, nostalgic. Joan - How's the PT going ? |
Hey There
Happy- Not too much pain...only when the knee shifts and slips out of place. I found a knee support, not the most attractive thing. It helps though. Mentally ,I just could not get used to the idea of using a cane. I try to follow the WW diet pretty close too and have not been able to get below 152-154 for the past 3 yrs, I sometimes think that our bodies have a setpoint that has more control than we do. Ofcourse I do eat snacks once in a while but not that much.
Meme ,It is a good thing that you didn't OK a feeding tube. Putting it in might void her living will in the eyes of the hospital. Our prayers are with you. Mima..I could never tolerate another person living in the house other than family. Sounds like you are having a grand time...My eating has been on the edge of getting out of control too this weekend. Nerves. Hello Candice. Ally Bye..Joanne |
Hi
Hi Everyone. Hope your day is going well. We are FINALLY get a raindrop - so far that is it. It is supposed to rain today, and it sure is trying. Tomorrow back up to the high 80's and Wednesday into the 90's.
Serenity - Had the same thing at ww on Wednesday. I don't believe it is attitude, as I have been following this diet, writing down everything, and living within my points! I guess I will have to talk to her about it. I think there are too many carbs on this diet, and I will have to cut back on them and add a bit more protein. I will give that a try in the next week and see what happens. Joanne - Glad you got the brace. I read an article in Woman's World the other day, about getting walking sticks. Not only do they take the load off your body, but you get a much better workout. Worth looking into - and not only that, you will be right in style:lol: I remember Tootie telling us (she might have been before your time, and I still miss her) that she used a walking stick, because she refused to be seen with a cane. Meme - It is good that you are following her living will. That is the reason a person makes it. It may be hard, but know you are doing what is right for your Mother. We really have NO control over what will be. My prayers are with you, dear lady. Ally - Even at my heathiest, I would never have devoted hours to exercise. I was very athletic and used to move a lot more, but naturally. I never had a weight problem then. I do know that movement is important for loss and maintenance. Fanatics just don't cut it for me I am afraid. You too can lose weight if you exercise 5-7 hours a day - but what about a life???? Mima - Well, that is nice that she moved so fast. I know what it is like to have another body, who doesn't belong to you, in the house, and it is sometimes not pleasant. Have a good time getting ready for that cookout . Sounds like a lot of fun coming your way this weekend. Just don't OVERDO it. Now CANDICE - Come out, come out, wherever you are:lol: I hope you are out having fun and not at home in pain. Drop a note and let us know. |
Hey There
Happy- If you are talking about Tootie Fields..I remember her well. I don't usually like comedy(silly) but she was good. You flatter me,before my time. My dear girl, I am sure that I am older than you. I am 69 years young. A walking stick huh. I am sure it would be better than a shiney metal cane that says "look at me"!!
Bye for now...Joanne |
I'm back and totally worn out but got a lot done for my mom I feel (even though some family members think I am too bossy since I am not around all the time!) I think I finaly got through to some of them that mom needs some grooming help on a daily basis. This is the first time she did not know us or remember we had been there. I knew she was slipping form my phone conversations but she has gone down hill alot since Christmas.
Well...my pelvic pain was better for a while but it is back and the drs. office will not give me more antibiotics untill I see a urologist! Why should I pay to see another doc when I know the antibiotics will help..I guess I have no choice.. I really hurt. (they said the urine culture came back negative but it always does)!!!!!!!!! Argggh! This is not new to me and antibiotics always work! Hummmmm..Why don't the doctors listen to me!!!!!!! Thinkin' of ya Meme! |
Hi
Gonna be a hot one today. I was 2 lbs away from my goal in WW and it stayed that way for 6 weeks-But I did make it and now I'm a lifetime member who had to go back a second time and lose 12-not the 20 from before. But that's 2-3 sizes on me becvause I'm short with small bones. I had to go get a tetanus shot yesterday because I scraped my leg on some rusty barbed wire. Now I'm good for 5-7 years. But the yard is really coming along and the junk man is coming back today. bye for now. Mima
|
Hey
I am up early as usual and I am going to try and stay within my points today. My knee feels some better with the support. I'll live!
Candice nice you are back. I just read a piece in the paper this morning where it stated that Doctors do not pay as much attention to female pain as they do to male. It stated that women feel more pain than men. I know of women that refuse to go to male Doctors because of that reason. I just think men do not understand women as well as they should. Mima.. Stay away from rusty wire. Good for you ,for your lifetime membership. I have found that keeping on or below goal harder than losing it in the first place. Lately everyday is startover day. Hello Meme, Stay strong.. Hello Ally Serenity, Happy , Bye, Joanne |
Hi Gals
Hope everyone's doing well. Tomorrow is WW again. I have my fingers crossed, but have been doing quite well this week. Candice: be sure to check this out. The pelvic pain - could be fibro. I suffered for years and went from specialist to specialist etc. Then one day I read women having this severe fibro pain - until then I had never made such a connection. Now I realize that is what my pain is. It makes it easier, as I no longer worry about it. It comes and goes just as the other fibro pains to. Getting ready for more rain here. It seems neverending, Gods way of bringing us a new crop of mosquitoes lol. Serenity |
Mom is so weak today I could barely make out what she was saying. She didn't make any sense at all today whereas yesterday she seemed to know everything that was going on and everyone who came in the room. The Dr. came in yesterday morning and told her she had two choices...a feeding tube and the nursing home or let nature take it's course. She said, "NO FEEDING TUBE AND NO NURSING HOME...WE'LL LET GOD TAKE CARE OF IT!"
Today she has been talking about things that happened years ago...it is almost like she is "back there" in the past somewhere...it's hard to explain. Once she said to me, "I worry so much about Mama and Papa." I said, "Why are you worried about them, Mama?" She said, "They're up there all alone with no body to take care of them." Then another time she told me she had cooked breakfast for her Mama this morning. She also said she had to get flowers for the cemetery and asked if I thought "Lee" would go get them for her (Uncle Lee has been dead for years). I have to bend right down over her mouth to understand what she is saying and sometimes I still can't make it out. I don't think it will be long... I hope if your parents are still alive that you don't ever have to watch one of them starve to death. This is the hardest thing I've ever had to do in my life. I thought watching my brother slowly die over a period of 7 years was hard but this is harder! |
Meme - I know how you feel. Watching anyone starve is such a hard thing to do. The body shuts down in strange ways. I hope for your Mom's sake and for you and your family, that it won't last too much longer. We just have no control over these things. My Mom had Alzheimers, and in the end, she forgot how to eat. Being a diabetic, she did go into a coma that she never came out of. We did not want to prolong her life. Had she lived she would have had no quality of life. As hard as it was to let her go, it was the right thing to do. Just talk to her and tell her you love her and anything else you have to say.
Serenity - Good luck tomorrow. We are starting on another heatwave - starting tomorrow through Saturday. Geez, by the end of the week it is going to be 35 and that is in the shade. That is pushing the very high 90's and I don't know if I will survive. Funny I don't melt. When I cook bacon, the fat just runs off:lol: It is late and I am off to bed. Everyone have a good day. |
Throughout our lives
Read it through to the end, it gets better as
you go! I've learned that I like my teacher because she cries when she sings "Silent Night". Age 5 I've learned that our dog doesn't want to eat my broccoli either. Age 7 I've learned that when I wave to people in the country, they stop what they are doing and wave back. Age 9 I've learned that just when I get my room the way I like it, Mom makes me clean it up again. Age 12 I've learned that if you want to cheer yourself up, you should try cheering someone else up. Age 14 I've learned that although it's hard to admit it, I'm secretly glad my parents are strict with me. Age 15 I've learned that silent company is often more healing than words of advice. Age 24 I've learned that brushing my child's hair is one of life's great pleasures. Age 26 I've learned that wherever I go, the world's worst drivers have followed me there. Age 29 I've learned that if someone says something unkind about me, I must live so that no one will believe it. Age 30 I've learned that there are people who love you dearly but just don't know how to show it. Age 42 I've learned that you can make some one's day by simply sending them a little note. Age 44 I've learned that the greater a person's sense of guilt, the greater his or her need to cast blame on others. Age 46 I've learned that children and grandparents are natural allies. Age 47 I've learned that no matter what happens, or how bad it seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow. Age 48 I've learned that singing "Amazing Grace" can lift my spirits for hours. Age 49 I've learned that motel mattresses are better on the side away from the phone. Age 50 I've learned that you can tell a lot about a man by the way he handles these three things: a rainy day, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas tree lights. Age 51 I've learned that keeping a vegetable garden is worth a medicine cabinet full of pills. Age 52 I've learned that regardless of your relationship with your parents, you miss them terribly after they die. Age 53 I've learned that making a living is not the same thing as making a life. Age 58 I've learned that if you want to do something positive for your children, work to improve your marriage. Age 61 I've learned that life sometimes gives you a second chance. Age 62 I've learned that you shouldn't go through life with a catchers mitt on both hands. You need to be able to throw something back. Age 64 I've learned that if you pursue happiness, it will elude you. But if you focus on your family, the needs of others, your work, meeting new people, and doing the very best you can, happiness will find you. Age 65 I've learned that whenever I decide something with kindness, I usually make the right decision. Age 66 I've learned that everyone can use a prayer. Age 72 I've learned that even when I have pains, I don't have to be one. Age 82 I've learned that every day you should reach out and touch someone. People love that human touch-holding hands, a warm hug, or just a friendly pat on the back. Age 90 I've learned that I still have a lot to learn. Age 92 I've learned that you should pass this on to someone you care about. Sometimes they just need a little something to make them smile. |
Hi
That was nice Happy! I've had that pelvic pain and when they check there is no infection. But you have to have the urinalysis anyways. Oh meme-that is so difficult-I'm going for massage today but we are getting ready for our big cookout Sat. Probably 100 people but everyone is bringing something-we are cooking hot dogs and hamburgers and corn. It's still a lot of work but hubby is great!!!I'll be glad when it's over and we can have a normal life. Hey-what do you guys think about the HRT report? I have been on the hormones for 15 years but I probably will wean myself off. I do have osteoporosis so i'll have to take something for that. Happy weigh in Serenity. Bye Mima
|
Happy, you post the neatest things.
Meme......Oh I am feeling so bad for you. How are you feeling..I mean pain wise. Sometimes when you have this kind of stuff going on you don't even notice pain. But I bet you are exhauted. Joanne.....MEN don't listen to women, why would male doctors be any different. My brother is a gastroenterologist. Amazingly his patients all think he listens closely....they don't know he is thinking about football;) Meme...how did that shot feel? Luckily my kids have been in the ER so many times they don't even ask if they have had a tetanus shot. However, I did have to chase my son around the room til we caught him and I could lay across him. He is also the one who fainted when he got his stictches taken out. Serenity.....A guy I work with lost 40 lbs and has kept it off by jogging 6 miles a day and he is obsessive about it. He also only eats fast food one day per week rather than the 5 he used to and only has pizza for dinner once as well. He is in my office every day with new nutritional things he has figured out. I do believe the key to weight loss is a change like this. I could not do 10 aerobic classes like that woman on CNN...but I know I have to make myself walk every day. Candice.....So you have Mom problems too. Do you think you can count on your kids when you are old? |
Hey
I know pretty much what Meme is going through. If her Mom is neither taking food or fluids she will not last for too long. I hope Meme is staying strong and that she has a lot of family to support her.
Ally ..You are so right. Most men think women are so empty headed that we don't know what is going on. Yet when they have a crisis we are the ones who have to take charge...I wonder why that is??????? Mima... HRT..They are finding out new things every day. I have not taken it but for a short period and then a Doctor woke up and said I shouldn't because of a blood clot I had in my lung. I lost the bottom rt.lobe because it was too large to pass through and ofcourse that would have been curtains. HRt might have helped my arthritis if it didn't kill me. You can't win for losing. Hello Candice... A lot of times family members that are around all the time do not pick up on the needed things that need to be done as do the one that can't be there as often. You have the right to say what you think anyhow. I would. But we all know by now what is in my head comes out my mouth. I don't always mean to offend anyone. Bye You all..Joanne |
Hi
Boy-it's cool out today!!!Great day for cleaning. The junk man took the rest of the stuff and Brad is almost finished. i helped a bit and hurt today but what else is new. After this-it will be easy.
Meme-how are you. Keep praying. Serenity-hope you had a good weight loss. I am only up a lb. we eat pretty healthy. I made a stir fry to put in tortilla wraps last night. Really good. And chop suey with whole wheat rotini the other night. Lots of peppers and onions and leftovers for tonight, Hi Ally-what did the dr. say? Hi Happy. You'd love our cool air. joanne-hi Hi Candice. Gotta go . salvation Army is coming and i have to be dressed. Mima |
Hi Girls
well my weight loss this week was 1.8 lbs. total so far of 9.6 Mima Don';t overdo it or you will be exhausted before the cookout. Regarding HRT - I have never taken them because of my asthma. Hormones can really play havoc with asthma and I spent years in emerg. once a month - don't need that stuff. I have osteo too, they suspect from all the steroids I used to have, but the med. just made me ill, so now they are trying to decide which would be best for me. Meme - Remember no matter what to take care of yourself first. You are no good to anyone if you don't take care of yourself. You are in my prayers. Joanne - I likely offend people too = stuff just comes out = no offence meant. Happy - i c BC had the hot spot yesterday 40/104.. Our forecast was for 35/95, but has changed to 29/84.2. I don't always believe them as my back yard therm. was at over 35 yesterday. Ally - I am trying to walk (mall walk) 4 times a week now. I am up to 45 mins and noticed yest.my speed has increased. Still working out on that machine I have - up to 1 sets of 10 yest. Also up at 6 am to work in the yard etc. so getting lots of exercise these days. I agree that lifestyle change is important - hope I can keep this up. Hi Candice - hope you are doing ok. Time for my walking - hubby waiting - he is walking too. |
Hey There
Serenity- You are doing really good with your wt.loss and walking ..Keep up the good work. It is nice that your hubby will walk with you. I have never been able to get mine to walk with me. We have a treadmill and it is like pulling nails to get him on it ,as a matter a fact he has only been on it about 6 times this year. He will work out in the yard though.
Hello..Happy, Mima ,and Ally Meme Stay Strong, We are thinking of you...Let us know how you are... Bye Joanne |
Hi
Just a quick note. It is too hot to sit here for long and besides it is so hot I can't think. It is 10:15 p.m. and it is still 90 degrees outside. That is 2 days of this heat (today with humidity) and it is going to be here until Monday. This is too hot for man nor beast, that is for sure.
Haven't done much today. Went to Costco when hubby came home from work. Grabbed some pizza and did some shopping, but mostly just went there to be in the air conditioning. It is too hot to eat, and my joint are aching. Candice I sure can empathize with your arm. I have developed tendonitis in my elbow (from the accident) and it hurts right through into the bicep. Also, have Achilles Tendon (tendonitis of that tendon) and am hobbling around. Serenity - good for you. I have been sticking to my diet, have lost inches but only about 15 pounds since February!!!!! I can't believe this. I need to get off those carbs! Joanne - it is always best to speak your mind. That way everyone knows where they stand. Mima - have a great weekend. I hope you take tomorrow to rest up for the cookout. Meme - thinking of you, and sending prayers your way. Ally - Hi. How are you doing? |
I'm trying these for awhile........
Morning Stretches and Posture with Tim According to fitness trainer Tim Blanchfield, a regimen of stretches in the morning not only helps our bodies to feel their best, but can also effect marked improvements in our posture. He recommends integrating the following five stretches, in this order, into your daily routine. Remember, however, that everyone’s body is different, so be sure to check with your physician first before starting any new exercise regimen. 1. Extend your hamstring muscles by lying on your back with your legs straight out. Bring one knee up to a 90-degree angle, and stabilize it by grasping the back of the thigh with both hands. Slowly extend the leg toward the ceiling, holding it fully extended for 2 to 3 seconds and being careful not to flatten your lower back on the floor when your leg is raised. Repeat 10 times, and then switch legs. 2. To stretch your chest muscles, place your hands behind your neck while seated. Keeping your spine straight, bring your elbows forward as close to the front of your face as possible, then open your elbows again, pushing as far back as possible. Hold for 2 to 3 seconds, and repeat 10 to 12 times. 3. Stretch your back by reaching one arm up over your head and then back so that your hand is touching your shoulder. Keeping your elbow close to your head and your hand parallel to your spine, reach up with the opposite arm, and gently pull the elbow back. 4. Target your lower back and the muscles running along your spine by lying on your stomach with your arms and legs extended straight out. Lift your right arm and your left leg simultaneously, holding them 3 to 5 inches in the air for 2 to 3 seconds. Repeat with the opposite limbs. Perform 10 to 12 repetitions. 5. Concentrate on your upper-back muscles by lying on your back with your elbows at a 90-degree angle to your body and with your hands pointing up to the ceiling. Squeeze your shoulder blades together while gently pressing your elbows into the floor, and hold for 1 second. Repeat 10 to 15 times. SPECIAL THANKS Tim Blanchfield Fitness trainer 212-879-3539 Still pelvic pain and yes I thought about the Fibro and am now reading about FMS and Vulvodynia ...pelvic pain, also like someone took a baseball bat to the groin area!!! Ouch! |
Hey There
Candice - Those are some really good stretches. I do some of them too daily..My problem is getting down on the floor and then getting back up. I surely wouldn't want anyone to see me in the process.
Happy ..We have had some relief from the heat with the rains lately.. We are supposed to be back up in the 90's next week.. I never turn off the airconditioning... Hello all..Joanne |
Hi
Today is the big cookout-probably 100 people. Everyone is bringing something!!!!We went to BJ's yesterday and bought hamburgers, rolls, etc. My kids are coming early so i will get to see Alison. Just about ready!!!!Brad came with me so it was easy.Tomorrow we are going to hampton for 3 days-with my stepgrandaughter and Mike and jill and Al. Brad will stay overnight and then go home and come back Wed. Hampton Beach is for kids-boardwalk with arcades!!!meme, hope you are ok!!!Great weight loss Serenity. Ally-did you have a culture taken? I get pain sometimes from diverticulosis. Hi happy and joanne and Candice. i will let you know how it went tomorrow. Mima
|
Hello
Ally- Have you been checked for Colitis? That causes pain in the pelvic area.
Mima ..I bet you have a good time at your cookout. Hello Everyone...Busy Day! Joanne |
Hi Gals
I have been trying to find the fibro message board where the girls were talking about the pelvic pain. It was a year or more since I was there and so far can't find it. I have had this pain since 1970 - after miscarriage and during pregnacy - Dr. said then it would go after birth of child but it still continues to this day. There were several women in that site that had this particular type of pain. Will keep searching - it was such a relief to find out it is not unusual. Off to Taste of Manitobe tonite - eat eat eat etc. Hope you all are having a good weekend we are in heat wave here again. |
Let me know if you find that site on pelvic pain........It has to be bladder, colon or I know......I know..just plain fibro..but DH gets upset when I tell him don't touch me! ( you all know what I mean..men!)
|
Oh.......... when I came in from the
garden yesterday I was at the sink washing my zuchinni and thought I saw something move off to my right..so I looked and then I froze..and then I kept saying oooooooooooo...oooooooooo..oooooooooo and then yelled for DH...there was a SNAKE in my mouse trap and it was still alive and slithering!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh my gosh......Dh said let me kill it and I said no not in my kitchen so I used a yard stick to let it coil around and put it in a box and took it outside where dh took a shovel to it...It was not very big, about 18 inches long and a half inch in diameter. I'm not sure what kind it was but I think it was harmless...it had a square mouth and if I remember from my science days it is the round ones that are poisnous. Anyway it creeped me out..it is bad enough to find a mouse in the trap! ( I found one too just around the corner from the snake, I think he wanted a quick meal). Then today I heard the trap again and another mouse..I never have mice come in in the summer and never a snake. I want to move!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!LOL My dad was a scoutmaster and we had snakes as pets and lots of other wild life..but I never did get used to them and I never will! |
Mom died this morning at 4:30. The funeral will be Tuesday at 1.
I have missed out on most of the posts the last week...sorry if I missed something important. |
Meme You don't know me. I am Joanne's sister. I lurk here sometimes to see what my sister is up to as she does on the TOPS site. But wanted to tell you how sorry I am for the loss of your mother.
|
Meme...I just checked in to see how your mom is doing...had a wierd vibe. I just knew. I am so sorry. Don't worry about us, keep your chin up and get through this next step and talk to us when you have time. I am thinking of you.
|
Hey There
Meme- My prayers are with you in your loss. Keep strong..Joanne
|
Meme, like Ally says. My sympathies to you and your family.
|
Meme - Sorry to hear of your loss. My prayers are with you and your family at this time. Remember we are here for you.
|
Hello
Hello Eleni. Nice of you to respond to Meme. I am sure she will appreciate it. Now, come out and join us.
I don't have much to say. Had my daughter and grand daughter here over the weekend and that was nice. Went to the lake yesterday, but it was really windy and quite cool by the water. We had a one day repreive and now we are getting back into the hot temps. It is in the 80's today, heading up into the 90's for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. There is not an airconditioner to be had anywhere. I guess I should be thankful we have a really good fan:) Mima - I hope that your party went well and that you are not tired from all the hoopla:lol: Hi Serenity, Joanne, Ally and Candice, where are you?????? You must be over being tired from your trip by now! I hope you are just out enjoying summer. Meme - I am thinking of you and your family. You take care and try and get some rest after tomorrow. I know your heart is heavy right now, - it will take time to heal. |
