My daughter is 34 and has diabetes. We joined WW last week and she needs buddies with the same problem she has to help her with the program. She has type I. I will let her explain her health problems when you talk with her. I do not want to explain it wrong. She is totally insulin dependent We live in Memphis.

Hi Fitzclovers....I'm a 36 year old type II, but my mom was a type I here whole life and my sister is 38 and a "type II" but has to take insulin....I can recommend some great message boards for your daughter....Diabeteschat.net (can explain your problems and ask questions and I guarantee somebody there has been there and done that and can offer great advice) and Healthboards.com isn't bad either. She can also try WebMD.com...I end up linking to it through CNN.com main web page....It's great to have someone to talk to to help out....
