Have fibro,need help getting weight off
 

Hi,this is my first time here.I am 41 yrs old and I have had fibromyalgia since injury in 95.I was working as a nurse at the time.i started out then at about 145-150 and 5'6".Now my weight has ballooned up to about 215.No matter what I try it wont come off.I tried atkins, but i dont care much for meat,and that leaves very little of anything else.I am not able to exercise much.I have so much fatigue.I woudl love to chat with anyone else who has fm and has found some things that [email protected]

:wave: :wave: Hi, Tammyinwv. This also is my first time here. I am 57 years old and have had fibromyalgia since 1988 along with diabetes, reflux/heartburn and have also had three back operations. Like you, I used to work until 15 months ago. I have gained back the 30 pounds I had lost on Weight Watchers. My husband and I try to get walking exercise in daily. It is a little harder during the winter months. I know it's not easy for you as I understand the extreme fatigue and pain that you must have daily. My doctor told me I needed to exercise, especially because of the fibromyalgia and diabetes. Some days it is easier than others but I dare not give up. I try to push myself as much as I can. Hang in there and don't give up. Would love to hear from others out there who have similar problems.
