Fibromyalgia #38

The bad news is, I'm having migraines again! The good news is, I lost 2 more pounds!

We really went through it with our 6 yr. old grandson last week. He was in the hospital 2 nights, got to come home on Friday. He was just totally out of his head. He got sick at school, started throwing up and was running a temp of 102. His mom brought him home and put him to bed. About 30 minutes after he went to sleep he got up and just went wild. Was running through the house screaming someone was after him. He crawled under a table and put his hands over his head and said, "Mama, don't you see all those people?" They took him to the Dr. but he couldn't find anything, said he wanted to do a CAT and MRI. He went home and then that night he woke up screaming he couldn't sleep for all the noise. There was no noise. He was totally out of his head again. They took him to the hospital. They did a CAT, MRI, EEG and Spinal Tap but didn't find anything at all. He seems fine now. Had one small episode in the hospital the first night but other than that he's been ok. His temp wasn't high enough for him to have hallucinations. I told them it sounded like "Night Terrors" to me but when they asked the Drs. about that they said they didn't think so. But...I've been THROUGH Night Terrors with my baby granddaughter and it sounds exactly like what she was doing a year ago. Nearly drove us all crazy. Her's lasted for over 3 months and no body got any sleep. She was only 18 months old and would wake up screaming her head off, fight us, kick us and would just be wild and sometimes it lasted for several hours. I just hope his is over with!!! Makes me tired just telling you about it!

We are having the most awesome weather. Sunny, in the upper 60s and lower 70s and NO RAIN! YES!!! Bad thing is some places not too far from here are having forest fires because it is so dry! I hate that but I don't want it to rain and turn cold either...

MemeToo 11-13-2001 05:43 PM

THIS WAS JOANNE'S POST FROM THE LAST THREAD!

Candice -Are you by any chance on colestrol lowereing meds? I have been having arm pain for so long I forgot when it started, Sleeping with pillows etc... Well ,I got it into my head that it was the meds. The Dr. has taken me off them for several weeks and then I start them again. If the pain comes back then they will know it was the meds. I don't have the pain that was in the muscles(not the joints),like I did before. I really think it was the Zocor that was causing it. Not just my arms but severe cramps in my leg too.Why isn't it, that inlaws can't accept and blend with us. ??I had that problem for all the years my mother in law was alive. If there ever was a stone she was it. Some people would say the "mother in law from ****."She would not release any of her children so they could live their own lives.
Memi- Do you come to Fl. for just a month or two or the season? We have been having some good weather. We do need the rain though.
Hello Happy- You are getting the cold weather about now.. It is in the 70s here. This a nice time of year. Not hot or cold. Ofcouse we don't get much cold. I have had the same light weight coat for about 20 years. I bet I haven't worn it a dozen times.
Hello Ally- Memetoo I hope you all are feeling great..

Bye you all
Joanne

Happy Canuk 11-13-2001 06:29 PM

Hello all

Joanne, we are NOT having cold weather. It is absolutely beautiful, and all the snow we did have is long gone. It is in the late 50'sF here and for us that is a heatwave this time of year. Don't even need a jacket on. Just great weather.

Meme - that poor little guy. I sure hope he is feeling better. My little grand daughter is going through something similar at the moment - nightmares. She wakes up screaming and it all is real to her. I can remember my son doing that when he was 3 as well. Not so much my daughter. Don't recall her ever having bad dreams.

Mima hope you are ok. Didn't hear from you today.

Hi, Ally and Candice.

Meme and Candice, remember the mouse in my house last year, well his relative came in last night:lol: Now it has me shaking in my boots. Set a couple of traps and put out some nice seed for him, so hopefully he was hungry. I haven't gone downstairs to look - I am a chicken.

Well, it does sound like good weather all the way round, so that is nice. Hopefully the forest fires will get put out soon, with a little rain.

Joanne D 11-13-2001 07:26 PM

Hey There

Memetoo- How did you do that-(bring my thread to the right place) .You are so smart! I would never know what to do. THANK YOU!I have never heard of things like your g/sons upset. He must have really had something traumatise him. My g/son was allowed to watch some scary movies when he was small and my daughter soon found out the results. He still sleeps with a light on in his room.At least he did till he joined the navy. I guess from what he says there are lights on all the time on the ship.He still loves those movies!!Good for you on the weight loss! Sorry you are having headaches.
Happy- I know what you mean about mice. We have had a problem from time to time with mice and squirrels in our attic. My hubby has done just about everything he can to keep them out. We had a lot of work done this past fall and was assured we would not have the problem anymore. Well guess what??We put traps and a little feast out from time to time and that helps. Thank God they haven't gotten in the house. I would probably say "here it is "at least until my hubby brought in the marines. No cold weather??
Bye you nice people...Joanne:wave:

Happy Canuk 11-13-2001 07:34 PM

Hi Joanne. No, no cold weather yet. Had a few days when it was coat weather, but so far so good. Usually in November, we are quite oftern heading down to 30 below for about a week. The past few years, we have had weather that is certainly not good old Alberta weather. That's ok, I will take this any old day.

Squirrels in the attic and mice running overhead would do me in as well. This little mouse in the house is driving me crazy. Not going to far afield.

I did manage to clean the cookies and temp. internet files out of my computer, and defrag the poor thing. Now it is running pretty good. Also, baked some muffins and made a loaf of bread. Reading a book on nutrition and ya know I eat just fine - I don't eat a lot of junk food, so I guess maybe, because of lack of exercise, I am just plain eating to much. Doesn't feel like it, but it must be. Not going to cut the nutrients out of my diet that is for sure.

Talk to you tomorrow

MemeToo 11-14-2001 12:53 AM

Oooo....DON'T GO NEAR THE BASEMENT!!!

THE MOUSIE WILL GET YOU!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

You guys are absolutely hilarious!!!

Mima 11-14-2001 07:44 AM

Hello

I didn't post yesterday because there were no replies after mine from the day before. But now we have plenty.Joanne-I'm going to FL. from Jan.15-April 1-longest time yet. We are warming up here-going for a walk with my aunt tomorrow and chair yoga today which is good because I have been doing too much needlework and I'm stiff. Sad about your grandson, Meme. Hope he'll be ok.How's the house sale going , Happy? About cholesterol drugs-I had to stop taking Lipitor because of cramps in my stomache. But I did hear a report last night sayng they were the best for lowering cholesterol. On my own, I lowered mine from 228 to 208 from waliking, dieting, and fish. My HDL is high-that's really good. I eat a lot of oatmeal too. But it is a problem. Joanne-you do so much walking!!It would seem that you wouldn't have a problem. I have a big decision to make-where to go for Thanksgiving?2 invitations so far. Such problems!!!Be good everyone. Mima

MemeToo 11-14-2001 08:40 AM

Mima...I wish I had your problem!!! I'll trade with you!
My problem is EVERYONE is coming here for Thanksgiving. Between 13 and 15 people...depending if hubby asks his Aunt and Uncle who have no children and no where else to go. I have Kaylyn today...she's a pain and I dread it. 4 years old and very demanding...not a good day for her...I have a migraine again!

Happy Canuk 11-14-2001 05:47 PM

Hi

Hope you are all well, and Meme, hope that your headache is better. What are the triggers that cause your migranes - is it meds? or what?

Well it looks like we have sold this house - again! Let's hope it goes ok this time. I think it will. It is a cash sale, and they are having an inspection done tomorrow morning and then it will be finished. Can't imagine that it wouldn't pass an inspection as it is only 2 1/2 yrs. old, and it is a well built home. Wish us luck. Also, if sold (will know for sure after 21 Nov.) we have to move by 14 Dec. Actually this is a lifesaver, as I won't have time to do any Christmas baking, so that means less eating. I think we might even all live - and maybe ever longer!

Joanne - from what I was reading in a nutrition book that I got from the library - try to increase the protein a bit and eat only low glycemic foods - not a lot of bread and pastas, as that raises the insulin level and causes carbs to be stored as fat. Might help get rid of those few pounds you have.

Ally - Hello and where are you? Haven't heard from you for a few days. Is she away?

Hi Candice - hope your arm is feeling better.

Hi Mima - nice that you are able to make a getaway to Florida. Me, I will stay where it is cold. Can't stand the heat much either. I am used to this weather and find it kind of invigorating at times. Certainly nice and fresh!

Oh, yes, by the way, got the mouse, so can now get my washing done!

Candicej 11-14-2001 06:44 PM

NO mice here yet but there will be!!!!! They are eating my indian corn outside in my arragement by the well! I have one cat that knows what a mouse is but only outside, when they are inside he thinks they live here!

Bummer.....the doc said no more shots cause they could damage the tendon and to keep using it but just nothihg heavy or that causes an extreme amout of pain and to give it time and see him in Feb. IF IT IS NOT BETTER.... THEN TALK ABOUT SURGERY BUT I DON'T THINK THAT IS FOR ME! So I am going to be plugging away and hope that I don't over do with all this Christmas stuff!LOL

We are having that Tuna casserole again to night just love it and it is so guilt free! It cuts back a point if you don't use the albacore cause I refigured using the regular light water paced tuna tonight! Had to have a handful of thos FF onions though..but I counted them!

Been having dreams of eating stuff at Roseanne Barr's (I don't even like her all that well) house that I would never eat... like a DQ peanut butter parfait and tons of candy and nuts..so not even like me even before WW!!!!Wonder what's up???

Meme..sorry about your grandson! You know last year when you had the family you had headaches too..hummm...could they be related:lol:

Anne..your way of eating sounds good to me and at our age if we are not very active we don't need much to eat! I am supposed to get by on 1250 calories a day!

Joanne..I am not on anything that should be making my arm hurt....All the stuff is for selep and anxiety! (and it is not very much anymore!) Thanks for the though though!:)

Mima..tell me more about the chair yoga, a tape or a class is it????

Hi Ally..where are you you Funny girl!

Tootie are you still out there??????

Gotta go and put the casserole in!

Ally0306 11-14-2001 07:31 PM

Hey Guys.......busy busy. Remember that guy I told you about going thru the divorce? Well...we went out on Sunday and I think he is .......... sweet on me. Giggle giggle.
Lots of complications still. Kids, loony wife who appears to be depressed or in mid life crisis. But he told me that he has had a crush on me for years. I needed that ego boost.
He also told me that I put myself down too much and that I have a nice body.
So...he is blind too.
:D
Meme...I had a kid with night terror. He did the SAME thing. Would say things were getting him and run from one end of the house to the other. He just outgrew it, but it was scary for a while. Migraine.....I just went to get my prescription for Midrin refilled and it is now a controlled substance. It does get me good and goofy if I take two. But I had a week of migraines too.
Hello everyone else....... gotta go let the dog in.
Maybe if I know a man is going to look at my bare butt....I'll lose some weight.

MemeToo 11-15-2001 12:14 AM

Easy now...down girl down!!! Don't bare that bottom unless you are absolutely SURE you want to raise more kids!!! (And sure you can deal with teenagers, someone else's kids AND A LOON!!!)

There are some things that trigger my migraines. Choc. and yogurt are two of the worst (and I love them both). I don't think it is any of my meds since I've been having them for over 30 years. The Neurologist says the veins in my forhead are too small to carry the blood flow when my heart starts beating too fast (I have PAT) so...the pressure causes a migraine. My heart has been acting up the last few days so that may be the cause of these but I KNOW sometimes they are caused by stress...they are different...they come on from the BACK instead of the front and hurt down the back of my neck on the right side, too. They are almost always on the right side, I don't average one or two a year on the left and I could take a pencil and draw a line around where the pain starts and stops. Feels like someone took a sledge hammer and hit me in the eye, cheek and forehead!

D-I-L got sick...strep...the Dr. told her not to work the rest of the week so my daughter has her 2 kids and I have my daugthers baby, Jenna...the one I keep all the time. I'm supposed to keep her tomorrow anyway so she is just spending the night here. I had Kaylyn...4 yr. old...from 7 to 3...went to get Ross (5) at 3 and kept him until church time...had to give him a bath and get him ready etc., then got Jenna when I got home from church...I'm sooooo tired!!! All my muscles are screaming at me.

I'm so glad I don't have to move...too much stuff. Son has his house up for sale so they may be moving soon or as Kaylyn says, "We're moobing!" She hasn't mastered her Vs yet! HA Or her Fs either she told me today she wanted Beta Chini for lunch...anybody know what that is??? I was lucky that I had some in the fridge. (Fettuccine) That is her favorite food...she'd eat it 3 times a day if you'd fix it for her!

Got another looooong day tomorrow...gotta go to bed. Candice take care of that arm and Anne be careful packing and moving! Mima...take me to FL with you PLEASE!!! Hi Joanne. Have any of you heard from Tutie???

Candicej 11-15-2001 04:22 AM

Meme..speaking of loons:lol: (that was just too funny but very good advice!) have you all every been to Rochester, MN (Mayo Clinic) They have a big pond there that is heated by factory and the water never freezes and the loons are wall to wall and very friendly. Quite a site to see!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is a dog site: :) Bostons and Pugs

KitchenAid Mixer...anyone know about them???????

Mima 11-15-2001 06:56 AM

Hello

I had the most frustrating day yesterday-thanks for the posts-it sure makes things look better. As for the yoga class-He spent most of his time telling stories and TALKING about yoga so I hurt just as much when I left. Some seemed to enjoy it but I know about the stuff he's talking about. Need to say something !!!!I need the breathing and the stretching and he usually does a lot of shoulder work which is wonderful. I was in a yoga class once where she asked you what you needed for that class. But I hurt myself at regular yoga classes.
Advice but who asked-Ally, when I am needy , wanting a man to approve me, I get in a lot of trouble-pick the wrong one. Been there. Candyce-do not be afraid of surgery-drugs for 10 days after and then some rehab. And then you can go back to a normal life. I couldn't even swim before I had surgery on my shoulder.Meme-feel better-I get fibro pain from milk and wheat. Joanne-I agree with Happy-sugar turns to fat but isn't it goood. Happy-good luck. Now-when I"m feeling out of control-I get into everyone's business so that's it. Be good-gonna get a rental car today-Enterprise-they pick you up!!Haha . Bye Mima

Joanne D 11-15-2001 08:39 AM

Hey There

Ally- This guy sounds real "needy" ,but what the heck .Have fun! When my hubby starts in with the build up I say "What do you want"and "Forget it".
Happy - You are probably right on the mark. Although I am staying within my points I am eating pasta. Most of the white stuff. I tried the wheat pasta but it kept me in the bathroom too much. Lot of fiber there.Good luck on the moving.. I guess you will leave the mice relatives there.
Mima I hope the weather is good for you in Jan. down here. You will be further south than I am so it will be at least 10 degrees warmer. On the gulf it is always nice. I live a mile from the gulf and walk there every day.
Memetoo. I walk 3+ miles every day. I still have colesterol in the 200's I got down to 186, 3 months ago and back to 200's this month. Sorta unstable and my eating habits have not changed. It is an endless battle.I have one thing in my favor. My good colestrol is really good. I think a lot of us can relate to the headaches. With me it is tension and arthritis. Usually in the back of my neck.
Candice ,do whatever is needed to get healthy.
I don't think we have heard much from tootie since the floods in Texas??
You all have a Great Day...Joanne:wave:

Happy Canuk 11-15-2001 10:03 AM

Good morning.

Candice, I have a Kitchen Aid Mixer Professional (from Costco) and I love it. Have had it for 4 years and it beats the Sunbeam Oster at everything. It has lots of power, and I would not hesitate to buy another.

Ally0306 11-15-2001 07:23 PM

Oh guys, most men are needy. I read a wonderful book a few years ago that talked about how you have to learn to accept that men as a species did not evolve as fast as their female counterparts. And unless we want to live alone (or with other women) we have to find a way to accept this.
BUT, this guy is the sweetest nicest guy in the world. I am just worried that he wants to just jump right into a full fledged love affair and I really just want to be wined and dined and pampered for a while.....
Mima...I can always use advice. He is right about my putting myself down tho.....he works where I work, I have known him for years. He says I do it unconsciously. Always have an insult on hand for myself.
We shall see. Gave me a few butterflies, which in turn kept my fat butt out of the kitchen.
Meme...I don;t know how you do all you do with kiddies. And with migraines at the same time???
Don't know about Kitchen Aide...can I hire one?

Mima 11-16-2001 06:28 AM

Good morning

I had th most wonderful massage yesterday and I'm going swimming and in the whirlpool today. My neck and shoulders hurt from too much needlework. I am going to make the pumpkin pie in the WW magazine for this month-got it on line. It uses phyllo dough and it's only 3 pts. per serving. Ally-you are funny!!!I would like a man to date but they want more.Had a great walk with my aunt yesterday-we had a drink at lunch and she held on to me walking back. I got my rental car yesterday-I got a Camry just like mine except for great automatic seats.I took out extra insurance because I got scared when th guy mentioned paying a deductible if anything happened.I guess I'm paranoid about another accident. Going to a small retirement party today and to the Christian Singles group tonight and out to eat. But I'm maintaining doing what i do so that's good. I'm going to a 46th high school reunion next Sept-gotta look good. There will be one old boyfriend there-maybe? See ya. Mima

MemeToo 11-16-2001 12:50 PM

Mima...share the recipe for pumpkin pie...I need a low point one really bad!!!

Joanne D 11-16-2001 07:03 PM

Hey There

Mime- Yes by all means share the pumpkin pie recipe. I think the points are usually 9 points for pie.
Ally sounds like you are getting really interested in this guy.. Keep him wanting.. That way he will stay nice and sweet.:)
Meme- There must be a star in heaven for G/mothers who take on their G/children. I hope your children love you for it. It is not easy even when you feel good. I did a lot of babysitting for my daughter. Her children are adults now and I miss them. One is in college and the other in the navy. My son has no children. I wish he would get busy and find a wife and have some. He is 43 and it might not happen. He was married and it was not a happy time for him.
Hello Candice. Happy, You all have a Great Weekend...Joanne

Happy Canuk 11-16-2001 08:01 PM

Good News

The house is sold!!!!! The realtor is coming out to put up the sold sign tonight. That means I have to get busy packing and be ready to move by 14 Dec. That is really not a problem. The less time I have, the easier it is to get it done. I am quite happy that it is done at last. Never thought it would take this long to sell, as it has been a hot market, but so many houses were built it was hard to compete - anyway now it is done, and the next thing Ihave to do is find a place to live. It will probably be back to the city, and into a condo in the spring, once it is built. We have put a deposit down on it, so it will be ours if we want it.

Ally - watch that guy, you might fall for him as well. If it is good for the diet, go for it, only watch out.

Meme - hope you are feeling better and that headache has gone.

Candice - I don't understand what that Dr. is talking about. Go ahead and use the arm, even if it is really painful! Ouch.

Mima - glad you have a rental car to get yourself around. That does help a lot. Have fun at the singles dance - enjoy yourself, you deserve it after the past few weeks.

Joanne - Pumpkin pie is something I really can leave. I don't like pie that much, but I don't mind the pumpkin filling.

Have a good weekend everyone. Catch you later.

Mima 11-17-2001 07:03 AM

Hello

Hi all-went to a singles meeting and saw my old friend Brad who said he would call me a while back but got involved with someone. Again he said he'd call me =we'll see . He is a nice person and only a friend. Poor guy-lost his wife to cancer and his son got killed a few months later so he has had a hard time to get over it. But now it's been 4 years-not the short time it was when i first met him. Move over Ally!!!!Pie recipe is on the Weight Watchers on-line mag. Go to Weightwatchers.com and look for the magazine volume 45 and the recipe. If not-I will retrieve it from my car and post it-I put it there to pick up ingredients. I got my own car back yesterday-really fast. I celebrated by buying a new sweater. I am going to hera a barber shop group tonight with my aunt and my sister-in-law. Good luck packing Happy-watch out for lifting as that really aggravates that rib condition.Hi Jo-anne. It's cold here . I want more granchildren-babies-my younger 2 aren't married but there only in their 20's .So are my niece and nephew so there is hope. Someone told me of some volunteer work where you could go into the preemie ward and rock babies. She said it was great.I need to walk a bit today. And nap because i went to bed late. Hi Meme, Candice, Ally. Mima

Mima 11-17-2001 04:58 PM

Hello

Meme-could ypo go to the WW ebsite and copy and paste that recipe? If not-I'll print it out in the morning. Thanks Mima

Ally0306 11-17-2001 05:35 PM

You go girl Mima......
Ya know, I gotta tell you the results of my informal poll. Woman who are married are telling me to be careful, go slow, watch out etc.
Single women are telling me to throw caution to the wind, go for it, you only live once etc, etc.
Something to think about.
Anyway... it is very hard to begin a romance when you have teens. My sons know this man and like him very much. Last nite he stopped by just for a few minutes and my son was folding the laundry. All of a sudden he comes into the living room with my biggest pair of granny pant underwear and says "are these yours??????"
Sheeeeeesh.
We have a dinner date on Wednes nite. Will keep you informed.
Hasn't kept me from snacking tho...
Happy.....get packing. Don't envy you with that. What will you do for the holidays?
Joanne....wonder what he will WANT now that he's seen my bloomers???
Hope you get that pie Meme......
Hi Candice...how's the arm????

Joanne D 11-17-2001 07:04 PM

Hey There

Ally-- You can bet the bank he is going to want all he can get!!! He is male!!And I bet seeing your bloomers will have nothing to do with it...
Have fun when you go out to dinner...
Hello to everyone...Love you guys...Joanne:wave:

What's phyllo dough???

Now | 3 POINTS

Ingredients

4 piece(s) phyllo dough
1/2 cup(s) dark brown sugar
1/4 tsp ground cloves
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp cornstarch
1/8 tsp table salt
1 1/2 cup(s) canned pumpkin, puree
1 1/2 cup(s) fat-free evaporated milk
1/2 cup(s) regular egg substitute
1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly coat a 9-inch round pie pan with cooking spray.

Cut phyllo sheets in half. Place 1 sheet in prepared pan, lightly spray with cooking spray, and top with another sheet of phyllo, placing corners just to the right of the previous corners. Repeat with remaining sheets. Press the phyllo into the pan and roll in the edges. Bake until lightly browned, about 10 minutes.

Whisk together brown sugar, spices, cornstarch and salt. In another bowl, whisk together pumpkin, evaporated milk, egg substitute and vanilla. Gradually whisk the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients.

Pour filling into crust. Bake until set, about 50 minutes. Cover crust edges with foil if they become too brown during baking. Cool completely before cutting.

Chef Tips

We renovated Pumpkin Pie by:

Replacing a butter-laden crust with layers of light, crispy phyllo dough.

Using egg substitute instead of whole eggs.

Adding POINT-free vanilla to sweeten the taste.

Hello

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! Meme-!!!!!Phyllo dough is that stuff they make baklava out of=thin and flaky-I think you get it in the refrigerator section of the supermarket.Meme-you saved me a lot of typing. Well, I am again the head dork. WEnt to a concert last night with Auntie and my sister-in-law , handed in the tickets , they were for the night before. They did exchange them. I've had them for 2 months but I had so many conversations with the person I bought them from..........DUH.Concert was great. Ally-that was too funny about the bloomers. I'm a single person that says go slow because this guy is not in the same place emotionally that you are-been there-done that. But it's nice to have a male friend. And it's crazy having teenagers around.Good Luck. Only got 6 hours of sleep again!!!Maybe I'll have a nap before church. Bye guys!!Great day to all. Mima

Happy Canuk 11-19-2001 06:49 PM

Candice, those little pugs are cute!

Ally, can your new friend beat these little guys in looks? Bloomers!? Well, it must have been quite a laugh to see the undies come out of hiding? Good thing we are not 20 again, isn't it! Ally, enjoy yourself. Good thing the boys like him as well.

Well, I still haven't found a place to live. I am going looking at a condo tonight. Talked to the fellow who is selling the condo we are buying, and he figured it will be ready in March, so I suspect June or July - so just need a place to hide for a few months. Only going to unpack the necessary things.

Well, hope you all had a good weekend. Mima, where were you this morning. Missed your morning post. Joanne, haven't heard from you for a couple of days, and Meme - you are really sluffing off!! Are you busy or something? how is your grandson doing?

Candice, i will get the info. re Kitchen Aid Professional. It is big one, and has a lot of power, and I really love it.

I've been in Nashville all day...stupid doctors...I HATE going to the Dr.!!!!!!! He said he was pretty sure the pain in my back neck and shoulders was fibro and not arthritis...WELL DUH!?! I've been telling him that for YEARS! So here is what he wants me to do!
1. Get more rest
2. Get more sleep
3. Exercise (such as walking...which I can't do most of the time Because of my knees!)
4. Take vitamins and calcium.
5. Go to physical therapy twice a week.

OK...here's the problem... I go get Ross every day at 3 and keep him until 6...I keep Jenna 2 days a week...I teach piano 1 afternoon and 2 nights a week...I do all my own housework...shopping...laundry...etc. To that he ADDS ...exercise and two trips to physical therapy a week. AND THEN HE TELLS ME TO GET MORE REST!!! I'm disappointed...he said he was going to do something different this time if I was still hurting...something like Embrel or Remicade...and all he does is give me a steroid shot...there goes the weight loss for a couple of weeks!

DON'T EAT TOO MUCH THANKSGIVING DAY!

Turkey in abundance for everyone to eat,
Mashed potatoes and gravy so Try to be neat!
Pumpkin pie and ice cream just can't be beat.
A real crowd when friends and family meet
Dinner is ready, So please take a seat!
And enjoy this traditional Thanksgiving treat.
But don't eat so much that you can't see your feet!

Hello

Happy Anniversary Candice-And many more!!!I didn't post yesterday because there were no new posts. It's nice to be missed!Good luck on your condo, Happy. When I sold my house last year I had no place to go until 2 weeks before I moved. They needed to be in my house before school started. Sounds like the condo you will get later will be nice. Condo living is great. No worries to speak of. My son was here last night and took my Christmas stuff down from the attic. Another problem solved.Meme-just add one little thing at a time. I am so stiff from doing needlework and i love to do it!!!!I will try yoga again tomorrow.Hope he actually does yoga and not talk all the time. Hi Ally!Joanne. !Here comes the rain.Weneed it. Good day everyone!Mima

Hello

Happy- I seem to be behind all the time lately.. There just isn't enough hours in a day. Maybe I am just slowing down. Maybe I just haven't had anything too interesting to pass on. We are going to my daughters for the Holiday. Hope I can keep my eating in control . I am barely maintaining now. I hope the papers aren't correct when they say that most peopls will outnumber their calories many hundreds during the Holiday.Maybe I am letting too many small things bother me.. Maybe I am just getting all wound up for nothing. :dizzy: I hope you can find a nice place to hang your hat for the Holidays. It will make things more pleasant.
Meme- Thanks for copying the pie recipe for us. I copied it for my sister and myself. We will give it a try.
What cute dogs Candice. I wanted to get a small dog for the longest time. Now I have new white carpet in the living room and I would not dare.
Mima - You always sound like you are having so much fun . Car accident and all. I would be a bundle of nerves if I even got a ticket.
Ally- Having Fun!! Your boys will probably watch him real close if they think he is getting serious.
Bye you all.. I am on the edge of not making a whole lot of sence. I really just wanted to say hello.. Joanne
