Nasty Toxins...

I found out today my body is one large toxic dump. :p My adrenal glands won't stop producing adrenaline, so it's building up in my body and becoming toxic. I'm on some things that should help, but does anyone have any ideas about how to purge built-up and old toxins that are still stored in the body?

I have always heard that exercise, eating clean, and drinking lots of water will help with flushing out toxins.

sounds stressful!

have you tried a purge/cleanse? also... I heard that massage and spa treatments can help.... are you with western md or naturopathic? also- when my naturopath told me I had too much cortisol/toxins he did things to support my liver especially since (he said) it was responsible for getting all that stuff combed back out of my bloodstream... I'm no doc but that is what he told me.... good luck!

If your body did not produce adrenaline you'd be dead.

Is whoever diagnosed you trying to sell you something?

No I haven't. I've been thinking about trying a few different things. The lady has me on stuff for digestion support and some that has that live good bacteria in it. She said I need to change my diet, but that's really hard. :p I'll try after I eat the stuff I bought last week. I don't want it to go to waste.

MariaMaria:
It's not that. She said I'm producing too much adrenaline. It's like my glands started to and never stop. They just keep going 24/7. Which is bad.

Is this lady a doctor, medical school and all? A registered dietician who works for some mainstream medical institution like a hospital or your health insurance?

No she's not like a normal doctor. She's had extensive study in nutrition and some other things I can't spell. I'd trust her more than a real doctor. All they do is listen to test results, rather then treat the patient and his/her symptoms. So far it's been nowhere near as expensive as seeing someone in a hospital or something.

This is my last post in this thread.

What you're describing is pseudoscience and someone selling you something based on pseudoscience.

What's getting lighter here is your wallet.

If that works for you, great. I wish you the best.

Well, skepticism aside, anyone else have any ideas on how to purge toxins from the body?

Eat clean and exercise.

I read somewhere that sweat is one of the primary ways our bodies eliminate toxins. So get out there and exercise, and sweat them away!

In the meantime, eat as many clean, whole foods as you can - no more toxins introduced. If you're really concerned, go for organic, unprocessed foods.

Lots of water, too!
