Waiting Time to Create a Blog?
 

I followed the guidelines for contacting you to create a blog yesterday morning. Having only just joined the site, I wasn't sure if I had to be a member for so long before I could have one, or if there was just a certain amount of time that went by before it got done as the moderators I'm sure with a site this large are busy.

I'm only curious as I'm anxious to get started blogging, I don't want to create one elsewhere only to stop it and start here, and I don't like having to tote my "actual" journal with me everywhere to stop, sit down and jot everything down on.

I also followed the instructions and have been waiting about 2 weeks. Not sure what's happening there. : (

I was going to send Suzanne a pm as she indicated in her instructional post, but I don't seem to be able to. :( Two weeks is a little disheartening.

Word. I'll try again in a few days...in the meantime, we have the wonder that is the forum!

It can take two or three days to get a blog due to the high number of requests we are receiving right now.

Jess, I created your blog on Jan 3 and sent you two email with the details. The first was an auto-generated email from the blog system that created your password and emailed it to you. The second was one sent directly by me letting you know what your username and url to the blog was. If they are not in your inbox, please check your spam folder and look for anything received on the 3rd and you should find it there. I think gmail doesn't clear spam from the spam folder for 30 days. If you manually cleared your spam folder since then, let me know and I'll reset your password for you and send it by PM.
