Is it possible to continue a post?
 

Other blogs I've used have a feature where you have a split post box. You post the first paragraph (or whatever) in the top box, and the remainder of the post in the second box, called something like a post continuation box. That means for the reader that the first paragraph appears on the front page, and there's a link at the bottom that, if you click it, takes you to the full post.

If you write long posts (as I sometimes do) the front page gets VERY long if the whole post appears on it -- that's awkwardly worded, but I hope you understand what I mean.

I wondered if there's a control I can't find that allows that option?

Hmm. I thought I'd posted this earlier -- I found the icon in the toolbar that allows for continued posts. Sorry!

Thanks! I was tinkering around in there to try to find it :lol: I recall using it on an earlier version of wordpress, but haven't used it in ages so I was clueless.
