can't log in to blog
 

I just signed up for a blog, but I can't log in. I keep getting a wrong password error. Cookies are enabled, and I re-set my password twice. But every time I get a new password, I have the same problem. Am I missing something obvious?

Maybe there's just a problem with the blogs today... I'll check back tomorrow. :)

I just signed up for a new blog and it accepted the password that it generated for me. The password is case sensitive, do you think that might be the problem?

Well ive copied the password straight from the email manually without caps lock on and cookies enabled

It looks like it's a handful of new blogs experiencing this. Not all new blogs, but a few of them.

If you get a chance, please send me a PM with your blog name, your blog username and password (not your forum login). If I can't get the password to reset, then I'll delete the blog so you can start fresh. I'll also investigate the problem.

Ok, I've figured out the problem and fixed it.

I upgraded the blogs Thursday night. It looks like there was a bug in the signup script. If you registered with a login name that had any upper case letters, it wouldn't let you log in. I've fixed it, so it won't affect new registrations.

For those that signed up with upper case letters, I've edited your login username to all lower case. Your posts will still show the original name with upper case letters :)

For example - Cassie, your login username was Cassie but now it's just cassie in all lower case. Your posts will still show up with Cassie on them :)

CharlottesMum, please log into your blog as charlottesmum. Your posts will also show up as CharlottesMum as you originally chose.

TBJ333, please log in as tbj333 as well :)

I'm so sorry for the trouble :( I've updated all of the new accounts so everyone can log in. Passwords are not affected.
