spam in journals and comments
 

ummm... hi

I'm not reallt sure if this is the right place for this but the recently updated journals seems to be a huge list of titles like "cheap drugs for sale"

and on another note I don't know how universal this is but in the last couple of days I keep getting comments that say one word and then have between four and five web links about cars.

I just wanted to report my experience.

The spam showing the list of cheap drugs for sale is a new kind of spam where the spammer inserts code into name of their blog. The blog developers are working on a fix so that this can be prevented. I don't know how long that will take, though :(

Comment spam will always be a problem, unfortunately. Not just here, but everywhere. The type of spam you described seems to be the current rage amongst spammers :rolleyes: We'll see what we can do to help cut it down.
