RDA Recommended Daily Allowances

    Putting my math skills to good use, I prorated the 2000 calorie diet and made a 1500 and a 1200 calorie diet.

    Now I am not a nutritionist, but these seem reasonable and balanced.

    Normal Healthy Maintenance Diet
    Calories: 2000
    Total Fat: <65g
    Saturated Fat: <20g
    Cholestoral: 300mg
    Carbohydrates: <300g
    Fiber: 25g
    Sodium: 2400mg
    Potassium: 3500mg
    Protein: 50g

    Healthy Weight Loss Diet
    Calories: 1500
    Total Fat: <48.75g
    Saturated Fat: <15g
    Cholestoral: 225mg
    Carbohydrates: <225g
    Fiber: 18.75g
    Sodium: 1800mg
    Potassium: 2625mg
    Protein: 37.5g

    Maximum Healthy Weight Loss Diet
    Calories: 1200
    Total Fat: <39g
    Saturated Fat: <12g
    Cholestoral: 180mg
    Carbohydrates: <180g
    Fiber: 15g
    Sodium: 1440mg
    Potassium: 2100mg
    Protein: 30g
