my blood sugar was extremely high today. Hi igh enough that I should have gone to the ER. i j​​​​ust took 2 G. that will bring it down but thats not how its supposed to work. No one I talk to really seems to know. I want to go to sleep and when I wake up all my problems will be gone. I think thats known as death.

The other issue continues.

Carol Sue I will try to talk to my niece if I can. I think her Mother was on mournjaro for weight loss but also took insulin. I think you need more info. I will see if I can find out.

Carol Sue I looked up online and it says that it is dangerous to take the G and mounjaro together. I think you might should call your doctor about the fact that it isn't lowering your bs. It might not work for you and he needs to know it.

Weight up .4 lbs which is good since I we had KFC 2 days in a row. FBS was 97. Don't remember what bp was but it was good and I don't worry about it anymore. Knee is so much better today. I am so thankful for that. DN was beginning to push me going to the doctor about it, but I actually was going by what my doctor told me years ago when I had a sprained arm, He said it takes about 6 weeks for it to heal.

Saw my oncologist today. Infusion went well. weight is the same 172.2 lbs and fbg was 104. Not sure why it was up.

Trish,What I read online is that G should not be taken with Mounjaro because it might cause a hypo. If the Mounjaro isnt lowering blood sugar something has to. iT goes into the 300s. I The pharmacist said they can be taken together if prescribed that way. She said it could take time for the Mounjaro to build up in my system. The doctor didnt tell me not to take the G. I take the second shot tomorrow.

Scale was down to 179.8. Finally under 180.

It seems my other issue is gone but you never can be sure.

This morning the scale is back up to 181. It seems I can never hold a good drop very long, but I will keep at it.

I slept extremely well last night without taking anything,like Benedryl or Tylenol. I woke up with a headache though,because I still have some congestion in my sinuses.

Knee is so much better. Slight ache at times, but so nice to be able to walk without pain most of the time.

Today the scale is 181.6, down from 182.2. However, it is the same amount I weighed on Aug 1. I just bounced my way thru August.
Blood sugar is still a bit over 200. They filled my G yesterday so I will continue taking it. and I take Metformin.

My nightmare is still hanging around.

Carol Sue I did the same thing. Just bounced through August. I'm not eating a lot now and so not sure what to do to get my weight to go down. My oncologist doesn't care, but I do. Weight is 172.6 this morning. Not sure why FBG was 107 after being in upper 90s for several days.

Niece and her Dad and Hubby are supposed to come for a visit today. Knee is so much better. I'm able to walk with little to no pain. Very happy about that. Wednesday will be 5 weeks since I hurt it and if my doctor from years ago is right it should be well by the next week.

Carol Sue I am so sorry. I had a visit with my DN and her DH and forgot to ask her about Mounjaro. I am not sure how long it takes for it to work. I know her DM was never happy with the way it worked for her. I'm not sure it would be worth that much money either. Your other situation is weird.

I had a nice visit with them and they brought me some beautiful roses. I am so thankful to have her in my life. Her Daddy didn't come because he was working on the gate and wasn't finished in time to come see us. She wants us to keep in touch with him while she and her DH are out of town at the end of the week. They are going to be with his Dad when they have a Memorial service for his brother. Her DH uncle died around Thanksgiving last year but they waited to have the service until after her DH cousin had his heart surgery. That is so strange to me. We are having DS service on her birthday Sept 20th. I have not said anything but I'm just getting used to DS being gone and now I have to go through all those emotions again almost 3 mos. after her death. Oh well, we do what we have to do.

There is no changes with me. My weight is still 172.6, FBG 103 and bp is very good. I have a CT scan sometime within next 3 weeks and I hope all this is good news. The knee and leg is doing very good. Woke up with no pain. It is my hope that it is just about over. Walking is so much better today.

Trish, I am so glad your knee is feeling better. That is so important for your mobility. Mine rarely hurts when I walk but when I go up and down a curb, or stairs. I do stairs one step at a time and always lead with my left, as the right is the bad one.

I forget what I weighed today but think I went up a few tenths.

Im coloring my hair, then we are going to the casino.

I am up .4 to 182.0. Not bad. We are at the casino. No dinner,but DQ on the way and McDonalds on the way home.

My hair color rurned out good. Ive had ir dark brown for acouole years and decided to go back to highlights again. DH loves it. This is how it was when we met, 45 years ago or so. It is easy to maintain.
