Carol Sue Glad you are feeling better this morning and do so hope it continues. Congrats on the 178.8 and hope you will be able to keep it. At least you know you can get there.
Weight this morning is down .6 lbs to 182.2 and FBG stayed at 102. I am going to work at keeping my eating window between 4 to 8 hrs with as many shorter hrs as possible as I seek to do this Intuitively. I think this is why WWSF is so much easier for me to do and I need to just stick with this plan. I absolutely want to see my goal of 150 lbs. I don't know how long it will take but tired of the bouncing around so much. I am on a couple of WW groups on FB which is becoming very helpful without having to join WW.
Have to go to the local store close to us to pick up one of my prescriptions. We will go shop at Walmart. Today is also McDs day. I read about a bread I can buy that will be WWSF friendly and want to see if I can get that at Walmart. Unlike I've done in the past Tuesdays, I had breakfast this morning. Had 2 eggs and 1 sl SLMG toast and 2 small mandarin oranges.
Hope everybody has a really good day today.

I slept a lot again today. Although I'm feeling better I feel really tired. Today is day 10 for me so I should be ok to go to a Wal-Mart tomorrow. I can't believe I have not been there for 10 days. I will have a mask with me in case someone approaches me but I should not be contageous.
I have not been eating very healthy these past days. I won't be surprised if my weight increases back up to 185 where I started. I know o cannot continue to be healthy on less than 1000 calories.
This m glad you found some WW groups you can join. You always, did will with WW.

I did not get on the. scale today because we had to leave. Wal-Mart did not have cheese or kleenex. I should have gone to the grocery on the way home.
I would like to go to Texas Roadhouse but we won't if he doesn't want to.

Weight up today because I ate some things not WW friendly. Could have had a serving but it was something I had been craving and I went overboard. Up 1.6 lbs which is no real surpr ised. Not sure how things will go during the holidays because I do plan to enjoy some of the foods I like during Christmas holiday. However, I do plan to remember to be better at sticking to portion control. FBG was still 102 so that is good to know.
Carol Sue, I hope you will be able to find what you need at your local store.
Have a nice day everybody.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Probably ate too much today but did stay within 5 hr eating window. Still considered a good day.

DH didn't want to go to Texas Roadhouse because it was too far. I guess I can say that when he wants to go to the casino. We went to Rodneys and split a fish sandwich. It tasted very good. When I think about food it doesn't sound good but it tastes good. So I didn't lose my sense of taste, just my aappetite. I wanted grilled shrimp at Texas Roadhouse. Next time.
My sister in law came over to say Goodbye. Her son in law is driving the truck tomorrow and she is flying out on Friday. So hard to say Goodbye but she will come back a couple times a year for work. Its best that she gets to be with her daughter and grandchildren.
Trish, I think you will do fine once you settle in with WW. You always do better when you have a plan to follow and some people to follow with you. Its good that your DH is happy to eat what you make.
i am steady at 178.2. I will probably stop losing now that I'm eating. I just don't want to gain it all back.

Carol Sue I hope your weight won't bounce back up too much now that you are eating again. Mine has bounced back up to 183.8 lbs but that was kind of expected switching to WW from low carb. I could probably do low carb with this but right now I want to get through the holidays. I was reading online about doing lowfat low carb, but I really like being able to eat the foods I want. I am also learning what foods I can eat that has lower pots. I'm using the old slider that counted fiber so that my diet is also a fiber woe. The fiber really makes me feel full. It is making my 2 meals much easier. I still need a little something later, but I think that will calm down as well.
Sorry you didn't get to go to TX Roadhouse. I wonder what he would say if you told him you didn't want to go to the casino because it is too far away?
I have decided to count pts again. I read on line that on the purple plan everyone is allowed only 16 pts a day which isn't bad. On FB SF it says 49 pts a week. So either way things should go well. I figured my pts so far far today and it looks like I will have about 6 pts. Of course that could change. I'm trying to learn to eat mostly 0 pts foods.
Have a nice day everybody.

We ended up going to Texas Roadhouse yesterday and my shrimp was very good. After that we went to the local casino which is only a few miles further. DH was having fun and stayed too long. I was very tired. When we got home we got messages that his nephew passed away in Arizona. We knew he was hospitalized but didn't think he was going to die. I don't know if the funeral will be there or here. He was 58.
Weight is staying at 178. So far I have no appetite but when I do eat things they taste good. Eggs don't taste good to me but I don't know if that will come back. The only way I like eggs is French toast, no scrambled, fried or hard cooked. Eggs have been a favorite all my life.

Well, I thought that I had written a post, but it isn't here. Oh well.
Carol Sue, I am so sorry about your nephew passing away. He was pretty young. I know you will miss your SIL and hope she will enjoy living with her daughter and being near her grandchildren.
Glad your weight is staying at 178 and I hope it doesn't go back up. I'm also glad you finally got to go to TX Roadhouse and get the shrimp you wanted.
Weight was going up too much so I am still doing WW SF but I am back to tracking the calories on MFP Today my calories has ended up being just under 1200 calories. I think I actually need to be able to keep up with and knowing how many calories I'm eaing everyday.

Trish, it takes time for your body to adjust when you switch from low carb. WW always worked well for you but maybe you just need to eat what you like and stop when you are still a little bit hungry. The food will be there if you are hungry later.
I have to be careful because my weight is coming down too fast. I never thought I would say that but it was 175.8 this morning. I have no appetite and this is from being sick,so its not a good thing. I am craving macaroni and cheese so I will make that later. Maybe if I eat things I crave my appetite will come back.

My weight is up to 185.4 this morning and FBG was 100. I am not going to give up the WWSF woe, but I will count calories rather than points or just thinking 0 pts. Everything counts for something. So I am back to tracking everything on MFP. I also started up my exercises again today. I haven't been doing those because I didn't feel well all last week. I remember WW saying it takes about 2 weeks to see a change in weight. I am going to still work at keeping calories around 1200. I just don't want my weight to go any higher. Of course, I've had stomach problems the past week or so and took a lot of meds that can cause weight gain that may come back down easier when I can eat some of the foods I had to stop like my salads. I'm going to try a salad today and see how it affects my stomach.
Carol Sue, the sickness may have given you the whoosh that you needed. Lets just hope you will be able to keep it as you begin eating again.
Cooking DH favorite of chipped beef except I will eat mine on WG pasta rather than bread or biscuits. Will have my salad and fruit with it.
Have a nice day everyone.

Today I ate 1196 calories and 140 carbs. I wasn't going to eat that much but I ate some leftovers from Texas Roadhouse. Then I cooked the Macaroni and cheese and we ate that. So my weight should be up tomorrow. I wasn't hungry enough to eat all that but I felt like I should eat.
Now I'm having a cup of tea and might take a nap. This tea tastes so warm and good.

I had 1283 calories eaten whithin an 8 hr eating window and did loads of exercises. I was reading from my kindle while using the stationary bike and before I knew it I had done 30 minutes, did 10 minutes on the vibration machine and also 20 minutes of strenthening exercises which are just a set of exercises I made up for myself. I consider my day a very successful eating day.
I woke up feeling kind of low about my weight gain although I knew it could happen switching to WW from low carb. Aand did loads of exercisess I lay in bed praying, I realized that I had one of 2 choices to make. Either keep working at loosing weight or give up and gain back what I've lost. I consider myself pretty healthy for a 79 yr old woman and of course there is only one choice if I want as good a quality of life as I can have at this point of my life. So I got up started my day exercising and made the decision to continue with WWSF as a guideline as to what to eat but count calories.

Weight is up to 177.2. I'm not surprised, because I didn't think the 175.8 was real. It sprung right back up this morning.
Tomorrow I go for my blood work at 9:10. I want to keep my carbs low today so my fasting blood glucose is not high tomorrow. I am really waiting for my A1c. I hope it goes down. It was 6.9 in June and the doctor was satisfied with that but I told him I think I can do better. I want it to be below 6.5. My doctors appointment is Thursday when I get my results. I often can get them online the day before.
I think your weight will start to come down again, Trish. I was going to ask you about your exercise. I have not done any exercise since I got sick after Thanksgiving. Maybe if I do a little bit every day I will start to get my strength back.

I wanted French toast but DH wanted fried eggs so I figured I'd try them. They were good, ok,with a piece of toast. Not as good as they used to be but I think I will develop the taste for them again. I think I still have the cough and nasal congestion and that is,causing my lack of appetite.
Today DH will be watching the Steeler game at 1:00. I don't know if I will watch with him or take a nap then.

Carol Sue, I agree with you about my weight coming back down. We had the chipped bedef and I chose to eat it with the biscuits and where I would have gained a couple of pounds the next day, I was only up .2 lbs. I think that is a good sign. I do remember years ago that WW says not to expect much for 2 weeks after starting their plan. Even on the new plans when they put you on a green, blue or purple plan they say to do the one you are on for 2 weeks to see how it goes before switching to another color plan. I also believe counting calories instead of points gives me a better chance of weight loss. My FBG is staying in the same range so that is a good sign too.
I hope your A1c is good this time too. That is another thing that keeps me on track since the A1c is much more important than the weight loss. We go back in February for our blood work.
I had what I call my WW friendly Egg Mcmuffin. I make it with 1 egg, 1 sl turkey bacon and a sl of veleeta cheese. on a 100 calorie MG English muffin. Eating this way I am getting my fiber. Last night I had a chicken salad sandwich on 2 sl of HEB whole wheat bread and the calories are 70 per slice. I found that 2 sl of that bread was too much. I made a batch of chicken salad for supper to eat on bread and will eat only 1 sl from now. I used to watch DH mother eat only half a sandwich and wondered why she didn't just have a whole one. Now I understand. I also got a loaf of whole wheat from Walmart in the freezer and it will be 10 calories less. I told DH we will buy it from Walmart from now on.
We are watching Cowboys/Texan game. For Texas it is like a TX super bowl when they play. I would not have wanted to be on the interstate between Dallas and Dallas this weekend. DH#2, the kids and I came to Waco one time when the old Houston team and Dallas played and it took us a good 2+ hours to get here that night.

I had my alarm set for 6 am to be sure I got up to get everything ready to leave for blood work. I used to walk in but now they take appointments. I woke up 15 minutes early so far just got up so I didn't wake DH up too eatly.
My appointment is for 9:10, then we will go over to Bob Evans for breakfast. I want steel cut oats with pecans. I feel pretty good today.
Weight is up to 178 this morning. I have to be careful as weight is coming back on .2 at a time. I knew I would regain once I started feeling better but I want to keep it to a minimum. I have been eating a lot of bread and rolls because I'm eating so little. I have to cut back.
I have tried so many different breads and I keep going back to SL. The smaller slices work for me and I can eat a whole sandwich that way and not feel that I'm overeating. I understand that WW suggests different breads that are higher fiber but I think the SL has high fiber too. The last time I bought it I noticed it says Keto friendly.
Today I want to make chicken alfredo. I have to make sure DH doesn't eat Pastaroni for lunch. I'm getting interested in cooking again now that I'm feeling better.
DH said no one is coming over for Christmas. His 80th birthday is on the 28th so they will come over then. I will have a hard time figuring what to serve since my DIL can't eat any meat. She eats fish but I don't cook fish. I wish she would get her regular appetite back. Its even hard to buy good cooked fish around here. On Thanksgiving everyone was eating turkey and she ate a fish sandwich she picked up the night before. I'm sure she hates eating like that.
