still fasting. DH and DD had a late lunch and have not yet had supper, so I am not being tempted. I will ask DD to make something wonderful tomorrow for me to enjoy with them.
I am quite tired after work today, I did not sleep so well. I didn't think i was having trouble after my meeting, I wasn't upset by anything, but stuff in my head kept me from sleeping. So I did a guided meditation for sleep, from Youtube, and it must have worked because I woke up a few hours later with the buds in my ears.

Have a good night everyone

Mad, deep breathing seems to help me fall asleep. I rarely have trouble falling asleep but I wake up after a couple hours and then I can have trouble going back to sleep. Sometimes it's something on my mind and sometimes I don't know what causes it.

Trish, I'm sure there is a reason how WW works. I am just one who wants to know how and why of things. We are going to step sons on Saturday so I will ask DIL if she still does it and what plan she's on. She loses really well on it but regains when she stops. But her high weight is only 145. I will pick her brain! LOL

I think calories in calories out works for some. I think any plan will work if you follow it. I don't think there were zero points foods when I did WW except for lettuce and sugar free jello. I can remember having all my points used up by 11 AM. I think I just don't want it bad enough.

I hate nights when I can't sleep but hate it even more when all I want to do is sleep. I'm not sure what that is. Any way I've been doing that a lot the past few days. I think it is all the exercise I am doing.

Carol Sue I understand wanting to know how and why things work as I am the same kind of person. I remember years ago when I did this before when they first started 0 pts foods. I finally stopped because I saw where a woman had decided that there it didn't make any sense to not count pts. So like others who must have listened to her, I started counting everything until I got tired of fooling with it and stopped WW completely. Now I've decided that I don't care how it works, I just care that it does.

Used all of my 16 pts today but I've decided that it is good to do that sometime. I've been so tired tonight for some reason and dozed off and on so I do hope I can sleep tonight. Good night.

Trish, I guess the part I don't understand is how you can eat whatever you want of zero points foods and still have the points available to use. I was reading about it yesterday and what I read didn't show a limit to eat of zero points, especial the purple that includes chicken breast and eggs, grains, and starchy vegetables. I think there could be those who overate and gain rather than losing. I don't think there's any way a person can eat all they want and still lose weight unless it's all they want of lettuce. I guess not being a member there's something I'm missing. I agree that it is as close to a perfect diet that you are going to find because it includes all foods and there's nothing you can't have as long as it is within your allowed points. My friend who lost all the weight did WW years ago and lost, but gained it back when she tried to do it on her own. Same with my DIL, but they are both well below 200 lbs. The last time I did it I lost well but I did it low carb. When I did it years ago I gained! It's working for you because you follow it to the letter. I am not good at sticking to a plan. The times that I lost the best I did not follow a plan.

Wt is the same, no loss or gain. 193.8. I am tired of this but I don't know if I'm tired enough to do something about it.

Today is probably casino day.

I'm sorry you are so sleepy. I don't know what to tell you. I don't think it would be caused by exercise. Do you ever check blood sugar when you get sleepy during the day? If my blood sugar goes up I get sleepy.

Weight is staying 201.2. I saw 199.8 briefly and then it flipped to 200 and landed back at 201.2. So I see it wants to go lower, but didn't. So all numbers pretty much the same. I consider this good. Woman Within is having a 50% off on clothes so I order 2 new pair of dress pants and got them for the price of 1. That is a really good deal. I would like to get some more everyday clothes, but decided to wait. Maybe in a few months I can get even a little smaller. Maybe not. Anyway I have plenty of clothes for trip and for church and I want to save money for our trip.

Didn't eat breakfast. I think eating more of a whole foods diet is keeping me from getting hungry. I finally ate a banana after Noon. We are having tilapia today. I hope to get a shorter eating window today. I like waiting until noonish to eat and hopefully this will become a habit.

Carol Sue I hope you have fun if you go to the casino.

Hope everybody is having a good day.

Hi all, below 155 (by a bit) this morning. Broke my fast with a late lunch, making it about 45 hours of fasting. Since we all had a late lunch, supper will be a bit late tonight, so I expect a slight bump up in weight in the morning, as seems to happen with a later supper for me. I will be sure to eat within the 8 hour window though.
We are planning a green salad and fettuccini alfredo with mushrooms. I will use the Konjac noodles.
Off to the pharmacy to finally get my medications, between the pharmacy and the doctors office, I have not felt well cared for that they allowed me to go without meds today.
Not impressed.

Fatmad Congratulations on your 45 hr fast. That is awesome.

It has taken me a while but I have finally got my grounding on the purple plan. I'm learning how to use my fiber friendly 0 pt and save my pts for the higher pt foods as needed. I have spent the past week eating some of the low pt goodies that I can have. However, today I started learning to eat a healthier way. I ate no breakfast this morning because I was not hungry. I like the fact that I can choose if and when I want to eat and eat what I want. In fact, I see how I can use WW eating my favorite way along with IE. Today I used the most of my pts at lunch. Even on days when I do eat breakfast, I can eat it with little to no pts. I only had 3 pts for dinner but I put together 3 foods that are 0 pts. I combined quinoa, lentils and onion which was all 0 pts. I finished it off with a NSA Kozy pudding will a 0 pts amount of cool whip. I am finished eating for the day with 1 pt rolled over for tomorrow. I have actually earned exercise 44 pts this week and I have one more day this week because WI is Saturday.

The way I am using purple plan is to eat foods that are filling so that I don't get hungry. This should make it easy to do IE/IF. I had a 6 hr eating window today. What a great day.

Mad, I don't think I could fast that long. Good for you!

Yes, you really did have a great day, Trish! This is really working for you and you should be firmly in Onederland in the next day or so! I am so happy for you.

My weight is the same again 3 days in a row. That is so odd. Maybe the scale needs to be reset again.

We had a terrible time at the casino. Lost our money. Then I couldn't sleep so I'm up at 4 am after lying there awake most of the night. We have to go to Wal-Mart but DH won't be up until after 9.

I went back to bed and now my scale shows a drop of 1.4 lbs, to 192.4. So it was stuck before. That happened one other time.

Carol Sue Sorry you lost at the casino. Glad weight is down to 192.4.

Weight is still 201.2 and FBG was 109. I'm having very upset stomach. I had the NSA rice pudding last night and I'm not sure why, but it made me sick at my stomach. Then I had indigestion and still experiencing that today. My beauty shop appt was at 9:30 this morning so I did go get my hair done. I had planned to go to store but didn't have that much to get so I just came home after my hairdo. I am no longer experiencing indigestion but I am also experiencing a sinus headache. I have no idea what we are going to eat today. I may just fix something for DH and not eat myself. I did have 2 scrambled eggs, with a little bit of cheese and Canadian bacon and banana for a 0 pt breakfast.

I am going to relax now and hope I get to feeling better. I hope everybody has a great day.

I hope you feel better, Trish. I have been having abdominal pain the past few days and that brings memories of the perforated bowel 9 years ago. That's very scary to me. I pray that's not back!

You are not going to believe this, but I was down to 3 eggs!!! Before the pandemic I usually bought eggs every time I went to the store and always had 3-4 dozen on hand at a time. We eat a lot of eggs and I use some in other things. Once the pandemic started I upped that to 5-6 dozen at a time because sometimes they were out of them and when we were in red we weren't going out as much. Recently we have had trouble with Wal-Mart eggs so I won't buy them. The yolks are very firm and hard to break when you mix them for scrambled eggs, and when you boil them the yolk is very hard. The local grocery sometimes have eggs that are ready to expire and won't put new ones out until they are gone. Now I started buying them at Dollar General . They are a mile from us and we pass it everywhere we go. They are only $1 per dozen and we haven't had a problem with them. I will buy new when I get down to 2 dozen and go back to having 4 dozen on hand at a time.

There were a LOT of people at Wal-Mart without masks. I think they found out that Wal-Mart doesn't enforce it. Our cases are down but the virus is not gone.

Carol Sue I hope you aren't having the perforated bowel problem again that would be terrible.

I like eating eggs and think I will go back to eating them myself it is just so easy to scramble them and have a 0pt breakfast or add a slice of Sara Lee 45 calorie bread for just 1 pt.

I wish I new why my stomach is acting up. I hope it isn't from the fiber. I wonder if I added too much to fast or if I've picked up a bug. I didn't have it until I ate the NSA Rice pudding. I do like it bur now I have 2 servings left and I am afraid to eat it. Strange how we can get sick from something and can't stand the thought of eating it any more. I will probably throw it out. I came straight home from the beauty shop because I felt so bad. I was freezing all morning and stomach isn't feeling much better. I know I had a terrible sinus headache so it all may be related who knows. I think I'm going to eat chicken noodle soup for lunch. I don't know why but I always want chicken noodle soup when I'm sick.

I usually come home and switch to my clothes our wear around the house all day, but I feel so bad that I switched to my pajamas instead because DH is going to be ready to have ceiling fans on soon. High today is supposed to be 94. I decided to weigh again since I had weighed so early this morning and I weigh 200.0 lbs now. I sure hope I will weigh that tomorrow for WI day. Makes me think maybe I should be eating lower carb again. I will have to switch back to lower carb and less fiber if the fiber is causing my stomach problems.

We don't have a $Tree close to us but we do have a General Dollar close to us and I knew a woman years ago who made kabuchi (sure I spelled it wrong) and she said General Dollar has a very high quality milk so I'm sure their eggs are good too.

Trish, did you have the stomach problems before you ate the pudding? Did you ever eat that particular pudding before? I'm wondering if it is the artificial sweeteners they use in it. You have been eating the fiber for a while and I think it would have bothered you before now.

We have 2 Dollar Tree stores. I don't know why. One little one is in the Target Plaza and the big one stands alone. I like the big one because it has frozen food. The smaller one does not. We also have 3 Dollar General stores a mile away in 3 different directions and 2 Aldi's. The only thing we don't have is Long John Silvers.

Carol Sue No, I didn't have it before I ate the pudding. Although I had eaten it one time before about a week ago. I had quinoa and lentils together just before I decided to eat the pudding and I felt fine. That is why I really thought it was caused by the pudding. I also wondered what they used for the sweetener too and really felt like it was the pudding. I just don't want to even try eating it again.

I have not been to Aldi's in quite some time but I notice a lot of people on WW purple use the Aldi pasta as well as a lot of other foods. I used to shop there all the time especially in SC and they had great fresh fruit on Fridays. I think I will start shopping there more. It is my desire to start eating more healthy regular foods on WW. I've played around eating this just because I could have them on WW and hadn't been able to eat them in some time.

DH had some pills for nausea the doctor gave us a while back. I think it was because of some medicine he was trying to take that could cause stomach problems. When he got up and found out how I was feeling, he gave me one of them and I believe it is starting to work. He made soup for himself and offered to make mine but I'm waiting until all the nausea is completely gone before I eat. My lunch of soup and crackers will only be 5 pts and not sure I will eat anything else after that. I just want to relax and get completely over this.

Trish, I googled the pudding and it is sweetened with inulin. Some artificial sweeteners cause intestinal distress but I never heard of them causing nausea. Also, I don't understand if you had the pudding before or had the nausea before. LOL I hope you feel better.

I have been having some nausea at night lately. I blame it on my G I take sometimes at bedtime. I probably shouldn't take it then. DH is afraid I will throw up on him during the night. Ha Ha. I don't throw up but feel queasy. I felt that way today and only ate a little bit of fish at dinner.

Aldi's has zero carb bread that everyone is buying but I haven't seen it in our stores yet. There are a lot of things we buy there but now they are limiting how many people are allowed in the store and you have to stand in a line outside until others come out. I don't want anything bad enough to do that.

Trish: I would agree, Maltilol and Inulin can cause a lot of abdominal distress. Especially a large or double serving. Its why I make mostly my own desserts now, using stevia or erythritol. The erythritol doesn't upset my stomach like maltilol does, unless I use a lot or eat a big portion. I often mix it with stevia to use less.
But most store bought desserts use sweeteners I would not use. I did recently find a Keto ice cream that uses stevia, its expensive, but worth it for the enjoyment, and I can stay on plan.

I was 154 even this am. I did not fast today. Have not decided about next fast. I think Sunday will work. DH and other DD will go visit younger DD in Brantford, and they will stay for supper there. Younger DD got a summer job in a junior social work position, we are so happy for her. Good for her career and learning and will build her up after a tough spring. The work will be done remotely or with social distancing and masking when seeing people in person, safety of staff is number one. So we are really pleased it is a decent job and good opportunity, but also safe.

All in all a pretty good day.
