Trish, I told DH that I want to take my walker next time we go to the casino. I didn't have any trouble walking when we were there but since they took the extra chairs away I could sit next to DH on my walker seat when he plays. I really like to do that. It's hard when one of us has to stand.

Carol Sue That sounds like a good idea to take your own walker for the seat. That is why I like to take mine when we go places you have to stand so long especially in museums. I like having a place to sit when others are standing too long.

I am so proud of myself today. I actually did 30 minutes on the bike. It gave me 7 exercise pts on WW site. I don't usually use them but glad to have them. I have my plan tracked on WW for today and so far I think I will have 3 roll over pts.

We will have chipped beef today and I will have mine on toasted Sara Lee 45 calorie bread and a small salad no dressing. I'll round that off with coffee and my 4 pt mini-ice cream cone. Dinner will be a 4 pt Healthy choice Beef Marot tv dinner and a sf chocolate pudding snack with a tbs of FF cool whip and a sprinkle of PB2. I hope that will satisfy me like yesterdays dinner did and I can get a successful 8 hr eating window.

I always felt like I was successful at being in control of my eating when I did WW in the past and as of today, I am beginning to feel that way again. A good feeling. I just pray that I can keep it up and that I will be rewarded with weight loss. Sure would love to be in the 190s when I go see my doctor in August.

Another successful OP day with 3 pts rolled over. I pray I am able to keep this up. Tomorrow will be tricky since we will go to church, then to Sam's and probably get KFC when we come home for lunch. But I will work to make it another OP day.

You are doing very well with staying on plan, Trish. I'm proud of you for finding a plan that works so well for you.

My weight stayed the same today, so I am maintaining. I manage to slip some not hungry eating in each day which is keeping me from losing. At least I know what the problem is. I have no chocolate in the house except for dark chocolate from Aldi. It is behind my knife stand so I don't see it all the time. I buy it for the resveratrol and eat a square every once in a while. Not the way I gobble down the milk chocolate. The only baked goods are the Vienna Fingers DH likes and I don't like them. So my overeating is just regular food. Yesterday it was home made Mac and cheese which was really yummy.. Sleep was ok.

Our temps have cooled down to highs in the low 80s. No rain forecast for a few days.

The virus cases are still coming in PA but not much in my county. There was a list of towns in my county. Most are little rural towns and most have under 5 cases. A lot of these towns only have a few streets. There are 3 bigger towns and that's where most cases are, and those towns seem to have the nursing homes. It's weird, but the county run nursing home that is old and run down only had a few cases and 0 deaths!! Most people think of that one as the poor peoples nursing home. The homes with the most deaths are the privately owned. I wonder why the cases are increasing in the south. Most people thought it would go away with the warmer weather but that doesn't seem to be the case. There are a lot fewer people wearing masks in the hot weather. They can be uncomfortable.

I saw an article online that said that 12 new PA cases were traced to the Jersey shore, you know all those beach goers they show on the news.

Hope everyone has a good Sunday!

I've decided that I'm not going to weight on Sunday and Friday mornings when I get up so early to go to beauty shop. Weight is always up a little more those days although it was only up .4 lbs which I realize are not gains anyway.

I think I'm settling into figuring things out. I'm had all 0 pts breakfast of scrambled eggs with Canadian bacon and just enough shredded mozz cheese for flavor. I know we are getting KFC so I'm going to work 0 pts foods around that too so I can keep my pts low. It is getting easier. In fact, I could almost do the green plan some days without officially doing it so I can play with the blue plan points.

Going to church and then go buy Sam's. I talked DH into going just to Sam's and coming home. We don't have to get meds so one day this week we will go get the car washed and go to the Walmart in that part of town. Some time between now and then I will talk to him about us trying to do some meals with ground turkey so I can have 0 or less pts for foods like spaghetti etc.

Carol Sue I'm glad your weight didn't move. I think you will finally figure things out and maybe with the deal you made with your DH about your eating when you want and him wanting to go to the casino will make it much easier for you.

Fatmad I know you are enjoying your DD.

Pipsicle Hope your week has been better. I just read about a woman on FB WW who said she started WW back in the fall and lost weight I think she said 14 lbs and then it took her 4 months before she lost 3 more lbs today. She evidently had some life situations that got in the way. I hope things will get better for you. It is very difficult when we have these bumps in the road. Believe me I know.

Have a blessed day everyone.

Angry Confirmed loss in danger!

Mad: We still have a NodicTrack. We tried to donate it just before the pandemic hit. They wouldn't take it because it was too dangerous! We brought it back in because I thought I was going to use it while the gyms were closed but I only used it a few times.
Carol: It sounds like a good deal (no complaining about casino trips for only eating when/what you want).
Trish: Thanks for the shout out! Glad the WW plan is coming together so nicely for you!

So I am gaining. This morning I weighed a weight I haven't seen since May. Trying to regroup as best I can but I am tired of the process, especially with such little positive feedback from the scale and other measurable things. FBS and BP are up today as well.

With all of the walking I have been doing for exercise, I am in pain most of the time because of my feet. I have a bad foot and a worse foot. A while ago I found a guy who makes braces for folks like me. I have decided that I will start the process to see if I truly am a candidate. If so, I will get them.

Pipsicle Sorry your plan doesn't seem to be working right now. Only you know if it is not working at all or if it is just the way things are going emotionally with all that has been going on with the pandemic. However, I thought I would just mention that maybe it is the wrong plan for you and not you. I'm not telling you what to do or to change but I've learned myself from trial and error what works and what doesn't for me personally. Perhaps you need to rethink what your doing and what you need to change if anything. Just a thought. I know the frustration of doing things for so long and getting no where. Whatever you do I hope next week will be better.

Church was good but long. There are 2 preachers who alternate speaking and this guy always goes way too long. I went to this church for years back when Daddy was one of the pastors so I'm used to it. But DH isn't used to it so as my as I love going there, I'm not sure we will continue. DH kind of wants to go to a church closer to us which means one that has services for about an hour.

Sam's was really busy. Going after church on Sunday not a good day to go to stores. They had some one at the door who wouldn't let you in until someone came out.

Carol Sue While we still haven't had all that many cases here in our county, we do still get some from time to time. I saw yesterday that they had 5 new cases and several recovering but I haven't heard of any deaths. So that is good.

Well my day has gone very well. I did switch back to the purple plan today. I just need and want the fiber. We were able to get the chicken legs at KFC so I ate them. I didn't have any points for breakfast and only 1 for dinner and I counted 1 pt for the Premier Vanilla that I used in my coffee although I don't think I used enough of it today to count in my coffee because I didn't drink but 2 cups with it. I used all my 16 pts for the KFC meal and then used 2 of the 3 pts that I didn't eat yesterday. I'm surprised they gave them to me since I was doing blue yesterday.

I am looking forward to my oats for breakfast tomorrow. I have learned that you don't track the 0 pt foods on WW now so I will track the pts on WW but track everything on paper so I can know what works and what doesn't plus I can have an ongoing record to look back on. I will enjoy this more. All ready I can see why this works better for me because I had a potato with onion, 0 pt portion of shredded mozz cheese and 1 pt Yogurt Ranch dressing everybody on WW seems to use and I did not get hungry tonight. If you remember, I always had a problem with cravings when I had the KFC chicken.

Catch y'all tomorrow.

I was surprised that I'm down .6 this morning but I had some slight potty issues yesterday. That is still considered maintaining on my scale. It gives you a different sound if you lose, gain or maintain. The loss or gain has to be a pound or more otherwise you maintained. I probably won't have a loss or gain of more than a pound unless I stop weighing daily. I don't know when that would be. I'm really into the daily weighing now. I don't know what I expect to see. You can't do the same thing over and over and expect different results. I'm afraid if I don't weigh daily I will see a bit jump. I used to go weeks without weighing. This new scale made the difference. I don't know if that's good or bad.

The wait time for a hair cut is down to 40 minutes now so I might go for a hair cut. It rained overnight. I won't go if it starts to rain again because you have to wait outside.

Trish, why are the chicken legs so many points? Is it because they are breaded and fried? For a long time I only liked legs and thighs but recently I started liking white meat chicken. My step daughter gave me a whole chicken she didn't want. I roasted it in the oven and that white meat was tender and tasty. Her neighbor got it at the food bank and no one wanted it. They also got some canned salmon no one wanted so I got that too. I will make some salmon patties.

155 again this morning after the excesses of Friday night. I have fasted since Saturday supper with younger DD here. We had a lovely visit. She is doing well and coping well. Applying for several student jobs, she is well qualified. They are jobs for student social workers so there will be support and supervision but work in her field now that she had done the first year of the 2 for this social work degree. It won't pay great but she will have experience in her field.

I may have a long work day, as my job partner still doesn't have her privileges at our hospital and we have a client in early labour. I am going to maintain my fast for now and see where the day takes me.
Older DD comes home from the cottage later today as well. Will be nice to see her after almost 2 weeks, but since she has been travelling so much the last few years, I am more used to her being gone for months, so this doesn't seem so very long.

Pipsicle, I can imagine your frustration with gaining again, and being so sore from walking. I sometimes get stiff muscles etc, or sore feet from walking more than usual, but the pain you have seems exceptional. I hope you can find answers. I assume this is not plantar fasciitis or something that shoe inserts can help?

Have a good Monday friends.

Pipsicle, I had foot problems for a long time but being stubborn as I am I didn't go to a foot doctor. I was hobbling terribly. If I went anywhere, I took a ton of pain pills to get through it. The pain didn't go away but made it bearable to walk. DH insisted it was gout so I got tested hoping to shut him up. It shut me up instead because my uric acid was elevated. The pills not only took away my foot pain but also my wrist pain. There's mostly one shoe I can wear comfortably and I bought several pairs of them in case they stop making them. From reading online I found that one of my blood pressure pills causes a rise in uric acid so it's not from my diet. I'm not saying this is your problem but that I hope you soon find out what's wrong. My pcp was diagnosing different things that would probably require surgery or shoe inserts that I didn't want. And that's why I refused to go to a foot doctor. I didn't really want to add a pill to the many I take but insurance pays for it so I'm happy to have the pain gone.

Funny how 2 weeks on WW blue plan prepared me for being back on purple. I can have all the 0 pt foods I liked on blue as well as the ones on purple so now that I have it pretty much figured out and watching a lot of YouTube videos of what others eat I've got this down. Yesterday went so well while watching those, I am excited to put all that to work for me. I'm having my 2 pts breakfast of steel cut oats for breakfast today. I can interchange that with my eggs too so I will have variety. As I saw one lady say you can interchange all the plans this way. I don't think I'll ever do a green plan day but I most definitely can work between the blue & purple and that way maybe my body won't get used to only one way. I think my always being just routine might not be good for me any more.

The nice thing this morning is that constipation is gone and things moved normally for me this morning and I was rewarded with a .8 lb loss and my weight this morning was 201.2 and FBG was 105. I didn't have any snacks last night and made myself go to bed a little earlier. I will do my 30 minutes on the bike today as well. I decided last night to sit outside while talking to DS so I got some evening sun as well. Right now it is nice out there in the evening so it is nice to get some fresh air and Vitamin D.

Carol Sue I think the added pts to the KFC legs is the problem. A original chicken breast which you would think would be so good on a diet is 8 or 9 pts so that is why I choose the dark meat. The legs are so little that I have to wonder about the count. But I counted them any way. I could probably make them at home with a 0 pt batter that I could make up and they wouldn't cost me any pts because chicken and fish or 0 pts. That is why I'm thinking about switching to ground turkey so we can have tacos and spaghetti that would be almost no pts.

One girl was making a homemade pizza on youtube and she was using a Great Value pizza sauce for 1 pt a serving where I think my sauce from the local store is 3 pts. I see a lot of people using Joseph's Lavash flat bread for pizzas, nachos etc and the whole sheet is only 1 pt so I will start using that if I can find it. Some make their pizza with half of it and it is only 0 pts for the crust. So I just need to learn more of how to take advantage of the 1 & 0 pts foods. The nice thing today is that after my breakfast and lunch today, I still have 8 pts for the evening. We can only have 4 rollover pts a day so I will work to use all but 3 pts today but no big deal if I do use them.

Fatmad I hope your DD gets the job she wants and it is always good to get the experience she will get. I still love how you work your fasting around what you are doing. I hope by using the 0 pts foods that have so much fiber that are more filling and cause a longer satiety that I will be able to get back to a more consistent Fasting plan myself. I think it will be easier for me to stay within 5 to 8 hr daily fast.

I guess I better get to it. I want to do my bike before brunch. I could turn this way of eating back into a 2M & 1S kind of day, I do believe.

Pipsicle thinking of you today hoping things get better.

Y'all have a blessed day everybody.

Trish, I think a chicken breast would be more because it's bigger than a drumstick. Anyway, drumsticks are different weight and are mostly bone so it would be hard to judge the weight of the meat only.

I buy Hunts canned pasta sauce. It is usually $1 everywhere but only 88 cents at Walmart. That's what I am making for dinner today with meatballs and ground meat added to the sauce. That will be my only carbs today.

I finally got a real haircut. Tomorrow I will highlight it. It is not as short as I want it so I will be going back in a couple weeks.

Carol Sue I also realized later that the chicken at KFB is also deep fried. Glad you were able to get your haircut. I think I would like meatballs too but DH doesn't care for them. The only time he ever ate them was when we went to his DD and she made them. It was eat them or nothing. LOL

I have had energy today. Not only did I do the 30 minutes on the bike but swept and moped the panty, kitchen and dinning room and dusted the furniture in the living room. I will end up with 11 exercise pts today not counting the walking which I don't count my steps any more because my tracker didn't work all the time unless you were swinging your arm. The main thing to me is that I'm moving around more.

DS is going to the doctor tomorrow and the office is about 5 minutes from me. We decided to meet at McDs tomorrow for a cold drink and just get out to visit for a while. Tomorrow will be a busy day since we will meet and then I will come home and get DH and go to wash care and Walmart. Feels good to start thinking about doing something together again. We didn't go to McDs with Daddy because the food was too salty for him so will be a different place.

Trish, DH and I both like home made meatballs but this is usually a last minute meal so I use Bremer Original Meatballs that I buy frozen from Aldis. They aren't as good as home made but I like to have some protein with my meal.
