We went to Tx Roadhouse for dinner. We got there just as they were opening at 3 and there were about 20 couples there. We did not have to wear masks but all employees were wearing them. They kept people spaced far apart. No menus or sauces, salt or pepper on the tables. We knew what we wanted. DH got steak and I got road kill. Delicious! It was great to go back there. I ate half of my meat potato and veggie. The rest will be for tomorrow. When we left at 4 the parking lot was packed. People were standing outside waiting and it was 97 degrees and sunny. I'm so glad we went early.

Yes, i can't see sense in wearing masks at a restaurant, when you must remove it to eat and drink.
I am 155 again today, did OMAD yesterday and ate early. However, my bowels have slowed somewhat again. When I did the longer fast for 54 hours, I really cleared out, (common with fasting) so there is usually a lag as my body readjusts, and things are moving along now, so that's better. Today may be a good day to fast, but I am about to go to market and get strawberries so we shall see.
My younger DD who lives in another town is coming to stay on Saturday. Slowly expanding our circles is reasonable and she has done a good job of isolating. I will make sure she has several new masks when she leaves too.
Trish, sounds like your blue plan is working and you are having fun learning about it too.
I hope it does encourage a moderate amount of healthy fats too.

Have a great day friends.

Wt is down .8. Sleep was poor, even though I took Tart Cherry and Tylenol. I don't know why. It could be because I have not been going to bed on an empty stomach, not observing my fasts like I was. My body doesn't like to be digesting while sleeping. I have been listening to those who say that night eating is ok, but it is not for me. My body likes food earlier in the day when I'm more active and fasting in the later hours. I am so tired of weight just bouncing up and down. I know what I have to do to lose weight. It is what I want more than anything else but I can't stop putting food in my mouth. Why?

Our hair salon is so busy. They are only open from 11-5. All you can do is sign in early then wait for your time. DH doesn't want to do that but wants a hair cut. He wants to just walk in like we did in the past and that's not going to happen for a while, until everyone is caught up on hair cuts and/ or they open for longer hours. He is frustrating me because he keeps asking me to check the app to see how long the wait is. We have gone there for years so he doesn't want to go anywhere else. This whole mess is just annoying.

Plus he is probably going to want to go to the casino today.

I got DH signed in for a haircut in 65 minutes so he's going to try. I tried to get myself signed in right after him but then it was up to 120 minutes. It is online sign in. I think people start signing in the minute they open at 11. I hope it works out for him because I'm tired of him complaining. If I die, who is going to take care of his life for him?

Weight up .6 lbs and FBG 121, but I think that is because I stayed up too late and ended up only getting about 6 hrs sleep. I slept good but not long enough and of course I don't like sleeping late so I am pushing myself today. I have to go to sleep early tonight because I go to beauty shop at 9:30 in the morning. I'll have to fight not to take a nap today. Next week we go at 11 & 11:30 and then 9 & 9:30 will be DS and my regular beauty appoint times. I will like that when I get back into getting up that early because I can do some other shopping besides local store and still get home at a decent time before DH gets up.

Carol Sue I hope y'all are able to get into get your DH hair cut and hope you will enjoy going to casino if he decided he wants to go. Dieting isn't really easy. I always feel like it is work but I am trying to make it fun this time and WW does seem to make that easier to do for me. I need to get back to stricter IF too.

Fatmad WW Blue is so much easier to do although I have to count almost everything and as for as keeping things moving the purple made it easier because of all the 0 pt fiber foods. Things don't move as easy on blue as it did on purple. If I can't figure out how to get that to work for me, I may have to go back to the purple. I was losing but thought I lost better on the blue. I may have been wrong.

I am trying to use all my points this time because I don't want my body to get used to less pts and I have a difficult time losing weight. I do miss some of my 0 pt foods like quinoa. I may have to learn to just count the pts and eat them any way.

Y'all have a good day.

Trish, it sounds like using your points for your fiber foods would work better for you. The purple plan is enticing to you because they call them 0 points but they have the same number of calories either way. They don't count, but at the end of the day in reality, they do.

We went to the PA casino. We did well, came home with more money than we took. We are usually not lucky there. Everyone wore masks, machines were shut off like they were at the other casino. Their food court was open. DH got a hot dog and I got a salad. I have to admit I enjoyed it because we won. We made a deal. I won't complain about going to the casino if he won't make me eat when I don't want to. LOL

Down .4. I thought it would be more since I didn't eat much yesterday and no carbs, but it's better than nothing. I didn't need G yesterday. Sleep was ok. I usually put my Tylenol on the bedside table with my water but when I looked for it if wasn't there. I didn't want to get out of bed to get more because that would wake me up more, so no Tylenol. This morning I found it in my pants pocket. But sleep was ok, almost 8 hours and somewhat restful.

Carol Sue Glad you had a good day at the casino and was able to have a salad. I've been trying not to take the tart cherry or Tylenol at night and I'm sleeping good. Still wake up some time with aches but they go away when I move around so that isn't bad.

My weight was up almost 2 lbs today but then I made pizza yesterday and there is so much sodium in it and I've been hungry at night lately even eating something so I obviously need to change some things up. Going to the store this morning after I leave the beauty shop and try to shake things up a bit. Now that I'm doing WW, I might pick up so healthy TV dinners that are low pts and add veggies to them like I used to do for an evening meal. I did that a lot when I did WW years ago and I saw where a woman on Blue WW still does that although she picks up the healthier ones. FBG and bp was good though so I'm sure the gain isn't weight but water. I've got to leave early for an early hair appt at 9:30. I would like to go to Walmart too but not sure I will have time. I had planned to go to $tree but not sure I have time for 3 stores this morning. We are going to Sam's Monday so may just wait and go by Walmart then.

Fatmad Hope your fasting is going well. Are you doing the longer fast?

Y'all have a good day.

weight 156 today after eating yesterday. I did have some crackers so the carbs no doubt did me in.
I am eating today because we are going out to friends' for cocktails later. We will socially distance in the back yard. Trying to figure out how to play euchre or cribbage in a safe way, but I don't think its in the cards. LOL
I miss cream of mushroom soup. All the canned ones seem to have gluten, and are not low carb. So I found a recipe for a Keto version online. I had a lot of mushrooms from a trip to the market, and used them up, since I can go again tomorrow. It is awesome. Not as thick as I am used to. The recipe suggests blending the mushrooms for longer to use them as the thickener. But I liked the tiny pieces as they were. I also left a few out of the blender to garnish it with. A great success, I will make this again for sure.

Carol: I hope the haircuts and casino and getting to go out a bit help the grumpies. Without the usual social interactions, after a while we all get on each others' nerves, and Covid Complaining gets really old.
We are trying to be really easy on each other and try to spend much of the day apart doing different things.

Trish: I am so glad you are enjoying the WW. I hate the counting, it makes me more food obsessed. I really do think there is an addictive component to my food issues. I can think about food all the time. Its one reason fasting is right for me, because I can just talk myself out of thinking about it, instead of planning the next meal and the next, and dreaming about food.
Counting may be a pain for you, but you don't sound as addicted as I feel about it. You are doing great, Onderland, here you come!

Last night I had a dream about exercising!! In my dream a co-worker got me one of those Nordic Trak ski machines with the sliders for your feet and cords for your arms, and she also got me an exercise suit to wear when I used it. What on earth made me dream that? I would never use one of those. I would probably fall off.

We went to Wal-Mart and Dollar General this am. I thought DH was going to want to go out for breakfast but he didnt. Surprised me. We came home and had eggs, sausage and tomato slices at 11:45 so almost lunch time. Here's my dilemma. I was a little hungry so it was ok to eat, but now I want something else. It's not hunger. It's just my appetite woke up when I ate. I will fight it. I don't know what DH will want for dinner and I want to be hungry. If I eat anything it will be some sauteed kale. I want to start eating it again to strengthen my nails. I also got relief from hip pain when I ate it last time so it might work with back pain.

The stores were really busy today. I just went to $Tree and HEB. Since I'm changing the way I eat, I think I have a better chance finding my WW friendly foods at Walmart. From what I see on YouTube the ladies seem to get most of what they want from Walmart or Amazon or order from WW. Everybody was pretty good about distancing.

I was going to get a roasted chicken but decided that since we just eat the breast or tenderloins that I would just get some really pretty chicken breasts and grill us one a piece. I notice the once I buy are raised locally and don't have a lot of chemicals etc so I bought a package of four and will freeze 2 and grill the other 2 for our lunch. I usually buy a big bag but I don't have room in either freezer. I want to try ground chicken or turkey but haven't got my head around that one yet. I actually forgot to get my Canadian bacon, but I was told about the one they get at Walmart has 1 pt for 3 pcs and I will get that one because I can have 1 for 0 pts since I only use 1. I want to save my calorie/pts wherever I can. I don't think people track the 0 pts foods on the WW trackers but I do because I think it is best to be accountable for every bite I take. That was another problem I had with doing purple was not tracking anything but your pts foods. I know me well enough that I would find it too easy to begin cheating. Not on purpose but I might forget a pt here and there.

Fatmad I used to hate counting, but I think not counting might have been a big problem for me at bariatrics. I had to track everything but no counting anything. Enjoy our time with your friends. I love taking fresh mushrooms and cooking them down in a brown gravy sauce similar to what the steakhouse makes but DH didn't like them like that. He wants the can ones and I don't so we don't use them much.

Carol Sue I remember when I was younger hearing my Daddy tell Mama that he could go all day without eating if he never took a bite, but once he ate something the he just wanted to eat and eat. I don't know what that is. I've experienced that before and now I notice that sometimes it still happens but I think it only happens when I am either wanting a certain food I think I shouldn't eat or don't have or I have eaten something that triggers it.

What I feel is exactly what your Dad felt, Trish. I can go all day not eating but once I get the first bite my appetite is full speed ahead.

I ate carefully on plan yesterday so I could have drinks with our friends, I had 2 ciders. SO I didn't bother with weighing today, no point.
I also plan to eat today since younger DD will be here for supper. Then fast Sunday and Monday until older DD gets home for supper.
We plan sausages tonight at DD request. Will also have sauerkraut with it, and will see what other veggies are available when I go to the farmers' market.
It opens at 7 so I will leave soon.
Up early because alcohol gives me insomnia, but I go about 6 hours of sleep so not too bad.
Its quite cool here again for the weekend then a heat wave again later in the week. The crazy ups and downs we had all winter is continuing this spring/summer.

Trish; hope you find the foods you like and enjoy. Take care shopping. I hope your part of Texas is not having the big Covid19 outbreaks I am reading about.
Carol: I had a norditrak for a while. I liked it better than a treadmill, but I hate doing that inside. I love cross country skiing, so I got a used one to keep in shape for ski season, but just like a treadmill, exercising inside like that is just not for me. Even in rain and snow, I prefer to be outside.
But what a funny dream. and a kind co-worker.

Up .4 today. These are just normal fluctuations. No losses or gains. I guess no losses are ok as long as there are no gains. Trish, like you trying to get to 199 again, I am trying to get to 189 again. I don't like Monday weigh ins because they usually reflect weekend eating.

Mad, years ago I used to walk outside before I had mobility problems and heart issues. It is 1.5 miles from my house to the neighborhood grade school, so up and back was 3 miles. I had to go up 2 hills each way which I actually enjoyed. I would be afraid to try that now. I like exercising at home. I usually watch tv and it makes the time fly. If I don't feel well I just stop and I'm at home. Don't have to worry about not feeling well a mile from home. I don't have to worry about heat or cold, strange dogs running out, it is what works for me WHEN I DO IT. A neighbor fell over dead walking in the same neighborhood. He had a heart issue.

WI weight 202 which was a 1.8 lb for the week and officially making first 5 lb loss on WW. FBG 100. My goal now is to stay OP and move on to the next 5 lb loss. However, for me personally, I want to see 199 which will be a big milestone for me.

Fatmad I use my WW app to check pts before I buy something. If I don't think I can adjust the points to fit my food plan then I don't buy it. No since having anything in the house I can't eat.

Carol Sue I didn't walk outside in SC because it was so hilly and I was never sure I could make it down the hill and back without issues. Now here in TX it is just too hot. DH and I used to go places and walk museums, malls etc. We need to get back to that ourselves even if I had to take my walker for safety.

The main thing I'm doing this week is working on fitting in foods or adjusting them so I can have them within my points. I bought the PB2 so I can have PB for 1 or 2 pts depending on what I am eating it in. The other goal is to stay within 8 hr eating window.
