I'm sorry to hear you so disheartened, Pipsicle. It's probably no consolation but I am not doing well, either, but I know I am not trying my best.

We went to the casino today. It was terrible and DH actually agreed. There was not a line to get in but a longer walk to the entrance they were using. They checked your temperature, scanned your DL and took your picture. No elevator. I don't do well on escalators but I was not doing the stairs. They did not give us any free play. I thought they would give us extra since there was no buffet. Only saw 2 people without masks. Every third machine was open so we were far apart. No limit in the restrooms but it wasn't crowded and only 2-3 people at a time in restrooms. We didn't win and didn't see anyone else winning. I told DH that they have to make up for the money they lost the past couple months. The only good thing I felt good getting all the walking.

Good to hear you got a drop, Trish. My friend who lost all the weight did not give up her snacks, like pretzles. She counts carbs and adds in the carbs from the pretzels.

Pipsicle So sorry you are having a difficult time. I do hope things get better for you.

Carol Sue So sorry things didn't go well for y'all at the casino. I also think they may be trying to get their money back that they lost.

My day has been good although I did notice that the KFC chicken did cause me to be hungrier afterwards. I did manage to stay within my pts with 2 left to rollover to tomorrow. At least I now know that it does that to me so I can be better ready for it from now on since DH likes to eat it once a week. I have to say that I am much happier on the blue plan.

Good night.

Down to 154 this am. First time under 155 in a long while. I hope that getting back into the habit of the fasting will make it easier/possible with my family around, because I am not enjoying life without them here. I did have a little socially distanced visit with friends on Saturday but otherwise living a very quiet life. Sadly, work is NOT busy, and this is a time I would like it to be so. DH and Buddy are coming home tomorrow, so my plan is to do major housework today if not called out. I may spend time at the office later today or tomorrow and get some paperwork stuff done.

The casino sounds really boring for you Carol. What did DH think? will he be chomping at the bit to go again? Doesn't sound like he enjoyed himself either.
Trish; glad you enjoyed your treat with the pretzels. If you are losing weight and your blood sugars are ok, then this plan is great. Hope you get to Onederland soon.

Pipsicle: the frustration is hard to deal with, but you must remember the NSVs your BP is better and so is your blood sugar. So don't despair, and find your way to stay on, or up your game. I hope you can find that balance with your full time job.

Have a good day everyone;

Mad, DH likes to gamble but they got rid of the games he likes. Also, we usually win some to play with but all we did was lose. He will want to go to the PA casino when they open, but we never liked that one on a good day. He will SAY he's never going back but change his mind next week. So the final answer is, who knows?

I hope you feel happier when your family comes home. You are definitely not one to be alone.

I didn't get weighed yet today so I will be back.

I decided I don't want to get weighed today. I feel fat.

There are certain things that can never be in my shopping cart. Chocolate candy, no matter how low the clearance price is. I can never buy more than a single serving. Another is deli meat. I love it but will eat the whole pound in one day then DH wants to know where it went. I blame it on the dog. This never happens with bags of frozen vegetables.

Fatmad I knew when you got back into your routine of fasting the weight would start coming back down. Sometimes the break makes it better when you do get back to your routine so perhaps you will be able to get out of the 150s into the 140s you were looking for before.

Carol Sue I too wondered how your DH would react to everything. I think you won't know for sure until the PA casino opens. I wouldn't want to go if I never won. You might need to give them time to get back their money and allow y'all's favorite games be played again.

I used to be the same way about sandwich meat especially deli. However, I found some deli meat at Sam's that is 0 pts for 1 slice. I was counting a pt but realized that 1 slice isn't an oz so I only use the one for the 0 pt. It was very helpful last night when I was so hungry. I used 1 slice 0 pts with 1 sl SL 45 Calorie Multigrain bread 1 pt and had 8 pcs of pretzels for 1 pt and had a dinner for 2 pts. Later when I was still hungry I had a small amount of lentils leftover so heated it up added some chopped onion with 0 added pts.

I'm wondering if there is something else your body is needing that you aren't getting.

Weight this morning is back to 202. YAY!!! Here I come Onderland. I figure maybe in a few days or even in a week that I will get there. Everything now will be new lbs lost as I've now gotten rid of the recycled #s. I did my 2 miles on the recumbent bike which took me 23 minutes today. I was talking on the phone and must have slowed down when DS called. She goes for her WI tomorrow and her shot. I hope she loses. She hasn't been doing well lately. I hope she will try WW again. She always did great on WW and so did her DH who also needs to lose.

I made DH yogurt this morning. Still haven't figured out how to count it so I can use it, but still might. I cooked some more lentils as they make a great 0 pt snack when needed so I like to keep it on hand. I plan to make SF brownies today with the diet soda the way I see WW blue making their SF cakes. I'll add nuts to it for DH . I usually have a 4 pt ice cream dessert to end my lunch so I will count the brownie as 4 pts to be safe because of the nuts instead of the ice cream bar and alternate it for a change. I think they usually count it as 1 or 2 depending on what they put in it. Tilapia is on the menu today for main meal with salad and veggies and I still have 9 pts for the rest of the day. Eating window will be 8 hrs between 11:30 and 7:30. I am thinking this will be my new eating window to get the benefit of 16:8 IF routine.

Y'all have a great Monday.

I finally forced myself to get on the scale and I am up .8. I have to accept things as they are. Staying away from the scale is not going to change anything.

DH wanted to go out to eat and I didn't so I told him I didn't feel good and went to lie down for a nap. That's the only way he will let me not eat. Then we had to go to the bank so he got a Wendy hamburger and fries. I ate some of his fries. He is not in a big hurry to go to Texas Roadhouse because of limited seating. He is ready for things to be back to normal. I don't know if they ever will be.

Tomorrow morning we have to take our dog for a hair cut so today I cleaned his eyes and brushed him real good. His hair will be really short and he will look and feel much better for summer. He doesn't like getting a hair cut so I will be glad when it's over.

Trish, Yay for 202! You are well on your way to Onederland again, this time for good.

Deli meat is just a trigger food for me. Some people can eat a meat and cheese roll up. I want 10 roll ups. I have always loved it. My mother never bought it but I would take money out of her purse and buy deli meat and eat it right out of the package. I was born with overeating tendancies. I was never fat as a kid, but my mother never had to fight with me to get me to eat. When dinner was over at our house there was never any leftovers. I always ate until everything was gone. I think the reason no one was fat is because we never ate after dinner. We did IF. LOL

I hope everyone continues to do well.

Very good day again today. I had 4 rollover pts left. I think I'm getting used to this. Didn't feel really great today as I've had some potty issues since I'm not eating as much fiber as I was on the 0 pt fiber foods. Took a while to get over cramps. I think my problem was that I didn't drink enough water the past few days.

Good night.

Weight is still 202 and FBG 104. I am planning better and healthier eating today. Breakfast will be my favorite eggs and bacon with toast with SF jam and Light Margarine. I'm going more lowfat these days as that seems to be WW way. No matter as long as it works. Main meal will be salad, cabbage and grilled boneless lean pork chop and dinner will be tuna salad and I will have 4 pts leftover unless I choose to use them for a snack. I have plenty of rolled over pts. I might not want to do that too much as I learned yesterday on FBWW that my 23 daily pts won't ever go down, but the weekly will. I don't want them to lower them too fast although it seems to be as you lose the weight that it goes down.

Carol Sue Sorry about the gain. I'm sure you will figure it out and get back to it. I don't think the way life has been lately has helped.

Don't know if I will do exercise on the bike today or not. My leg was hurting last night and some this morning. I have done my other exercises though. I need to change it up some anyway to keep from being board.

Fatmad I hope you are doing well. I know you will be glad to have DH and Buddy home and sure you will get back to walking Buddy.

Pipsicle I hope this week is better for you. Just hang in there and don't give up. You are bound to see some things turn in your favor.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Trish, I am not eating low fat necessarily but I don't eat as much fat as I used to. I cooked my own eggs today and I always use cooking spray. DH still uses butter. I sometimes eat my toast without butter and I have started eating my baked potato with just salt instead of butter and sour cream. I don't have potatoes very often. Just little changes I'm making, not that it's doing any good right now. I'm having an overeating streak but I will turn it around. I always do. I just wish I could stop doing it and interfering with my losses.

I haven't had tuna salad for a while. Sounds good. There are some things like that that I forget about until someone mentions it. I think that it's good that you are getting used to eating fewer points than you are allowed. That will get you ready for when they lower them.
YGG!!

155.5 today after eating yesterday, including a little treat with DH and Buddy. They are home and we are all happy. I slept better last night too, in spite of a big thunderstorm. I think its the first one since we have had Buddy, and I am happy he is doing fine and doesn't react to it. He certainly was unhappy about fireworks a couple of weeks ago, so we were not sure about thunder.....
I will be able to get back into the routine of taking him for walks. DH says the bugs were really bad at the cottage, and he was kinda miserable about it, so he should be happy here, there are very few bugs etc.
Not sure if I will fast completely or do OMAD today.
One thing I forgot about with the fasting.....when I got home from the cottage I did groceries since we had taken everything to the cottage.
Well when you are fasting as much as I have been doing, you don't use up the food. Also I was used to buying for 3 and it was just me. There are some veggies etc than need to be used up or they will go to waste. So I am thinking of a nice grilled steak tail supper with DH and a good salad to go with it, and the mushrooms....
In any case, there will be lots of good for me things so that should do it.
Have a good day friends.

Glad to hear your family came home, Mad. That should help with your frame of mind!

I ate a lot yesterday and did not fast but wt is down .6. I don't have to fast every day. I slept for 8 hours but not restful. I did not take Tylenol as I don't want to take it every night. I also have not been taking the tart cherry. I have to read about it again to see if I want to reorder. I start to think it's not doing anything.

DH wanted pizza yesterday and I didn't want to tell him no so I just ate the toppings off 3 pieces. I love the crust but it just spikes my blood sugar too high and I have to put my foot down somewhere. I feel like I'm wasting pizza when I do that but there was one full piece left that he could have eaten if he wanted it. It is wrapped up in the refrigerator if he wants to heat it up today for lunch.

I had fried eggs and 2 slices of 45 calorie toast without butter. Once again I don't know what we will have for dinner but I hope I don't eat again until then. I have a lot of things I want to do so if I stay busy I should forget about food.

I need eggs, but we have been having trouble with Wal-Mart eggs so I will have to go to the local grocery store.

I saw on the news that some virus hot spots are opening up in the south and south west. I hope it's not starting all over.

Fatmad Glad your DH and Buddy are home and you rested better. I think as you get back into your way of life that everything will fall into place for you. You will do fine.

Carol Sue It is difficult when you have to work with someone else. I used to eat just the toppings when I was strict low carb. I do love my eggs and I also am finding that I really like my oats, steel cut & regular. I am beginning to be hungry for them and think I will eat my oats for breakfast for a while and then have a regular meal with DH and eat my eggs in the evening for dinner hoping that will satisfy me so that I don't want anything else to eat after. It will be easy and hopefully do away with wanting to nibble later in the evening. I would love to get better with my fasting. My big problem is that now that I'm settling into my WW plan, I am getting bored with trying to decide what to eat. I would like to keep it as simple as possible. I'm got hot dogs out for lunch today but not sure if I will eat any or just give it to DH. I am blessed with the fact that he doesn't think I have to eat what he eats.

Weight seems to be stuck a 202 for the moment and FBG 104 both exactly as yesterday. So I assume that is a good thing. I would like to get out today but not sure where I would go. It is difficult to know what to believe about the masks these days. I heard yesterday that a doctor came out and said that the shut down was for nothing because supposedly China is now saying it isn't spread the way they thought. Then the next day that doctor back tracked and changed the wording. I think it is totally confusing to everyone. It seems to be okay to be out if you are rioting or protesting so now people just don't know what is true and what isn't. I really don't worry about it because I can't do anything about it any way. It is what it is. I can only do the best I can and pray I'm doing the right thing.

Everybody have a good day.

Trish, I think in a week or so we will find out if the protesters spread the virus. It takes a few days from exposure for symptoms to show up. If not, then maybe social distancing isn't needed. I'm beginning to think it's a crap shoot...either you are exposed to someone with the virus or you're not. And I don't think a mask helps you. It probably keeps a sick person from spreading it, somewhat, but some people have it and don't know it. I like to stay home, but I go where I need to go and pray that I'm ok. I don't think I'll get it if it isn't my time. I know some people disagree with that.

I think no matter what plan we follow we will lose if we eat less than our bodies need. The foods that are on your list are just suggestions. Each person has to decide how much their body needs. So far you are doing good, not gaining. I think eventually you will continue to get a drop.

Carol Sue I agree with you about the masks etc. I'm not sure they know so time will tell.

Also agree with you about the diet plan. I am following this lady on YouTube that does blue plan. I watched a few other people, but she is older than the younger people who lose a little quicker. The one I saw of hers today was setting realistic goals. She is in her 50s and evidently has lost loads of weight. She must have started close to 300 not sure. She talks about how she has to watch portions. I think she is Italian descent and loves her pasta etc. Any way, I like her idea of setting small weight loss goals. She said she need to lose 125 lbs when she started the last time. She couldn't think in terms of that so started thinking of losing a lb or 2 to start with. Also she talked about realizing how much you have lost verses how much you have to lose. I like that a lot. When I realized how much I have lost and kept off over the years, it helped me a lot. I had never looked at weight loss that way.

My goal right night is 3 lbs to reach 199. I don't know how long it will take me since I seem to lose slowly. I tried watching someone on the green plan on YouTube but she rambled too much and never got around to the point so I quit listening to her. I really think people lose better with green, but I think blue will work better for me. I saw one young girl who gained 5 lbs on purple plan and switched to blue. She said she loses slowly so she was excited she had lost 1.6 lbs in the first week on blue. She said she never loses more than 1 so felt good about that.

I am going to just learn to work within the blue plan and know that there will be weeks I will lose something and there will be some weeks that I want but I am becoming healthy. As of today have reached my exercise goals for this week and gained a trophy for it. I didn't set the goal high so should have been easy to reach.
