Happy GroundHog's Day.
It is pretty warm here in the bleak midwinter.
Above freezing, and I am worried I won't be able to cross country ski on my holiday. DH is taking 3 days off to spend with me, and although the scandanave spa is also nice, I was planning on hot pools and saunas etc to be my apres ski activity.

My oldest daughter has an old friend who is very obese, and she and I are friends on Facebook. She is politically fat-positive, but recently posted a lovely thing about "treats" for ourselves that are not about food or shopping. Some are things we can do for ourselves, and others need fellowship.

So I will encourage all of us to treat ourselves in some way this week, in a way that costs little or nothing. Be it a self manicure, time to soak in the tub, time to take a walk, not for fitness but beauty, or time with someone you love, like your partner or a grandchild or niece.
