Last weekend I picked up Diabetic Living Diabetes What to eat. Does anyone read any of the diabetes magazines and find them helpful in any way? TIA

I've only skimmed their websites; not really ready to subscribe to one. (That would be too much like admitting I'm pre-D. /laugh)

But from what I've seen, most of them are following the ADA diet guidelines, which tends to be too carb-y for me.

I've bought one or two issues of diabetic living that seemed interesting when it first came out, but I don't subscribe.

For me it is eye candy. There isn't anything there I can't find online but it is fun to look at once in a while.

WAY too carby and fatty for me. I find vegetarian mags/blog/websites much better suited to keeping my diabetes in check.
