This is a great 7 min video of Erik Chopin, last year's biggest loser who was found to have Type 2 when he joined the show. Losing almost 200 lbs let him control it without meds!
If you're not familiar with the dlife tv show or website, they are great resources for diabetics - type 1 or 2.
