Are any of you doing South Beach?

I just wondered because I was thinking of starting this w DH on Monday. I've read that ppl w diabetes should start in Phase 2 and skip Phase 1. I wondered if anyone has had any success with it?

I follow Sugarbusters which is essentially the same as South Beach phase 2. I know RuthXXX, who moderates the South Beach forum is diabetic and it seems to help her keep her blood sugar in range.
