fiber one cookies
I got this recipe from my meeting and thought it was so yummy!
1 pouch of fiber one cereal 2 tbls Peanut Butter 4 hershey bars (reg. size) Spray the pan with pam. on low heat melt the hershey bar then add the peanut butter mix well. stir in the fiber one cereal mix well then drop onto waxed paper over a cookie sheet into 16 cookies. They are 1 pt per cookie and are wonderful!! watch out though don't eat too many they are full of fiber and that could mean many bathroom visits if you know what I mean! |
Is that a certain size cereal box? Does it matter what flavor of Fiber one? Is there more than one kind?
Sounds great. I'd love to make some and take to my meeting on Thursday. Thanks |
That would be too hard to resist. Might as well count 16 points if I made those in this house.:p LOL!! I'll have to find some Fiber One to try. Is it with the cold cereals or the hot cereals? Thanx!:D

I have a similar recipe for Haystacks, it's 18piles at 1pt each
3 cups Fiber One cereal, {regular} 1/2 cup Peanut Butter 1/2 cup chips, any kind- my fav is Butterscotch, then Vanilla, both delicious melt the PB and chips in the micro for 30sec intervals, don't over cook, then stir in cereal and drop onto parchment or wax paper, 18 piles on a cookie sheet, put them in the freezer, once they set up put into a lg plastic bag. I use a lg serving spoon to make my piles, but my leader makes them and puts them into a 9x13 pan and cuts them in 16 squares, still counts them as 1pt each, seems to work better for her. |
