Fresh Pear Cake - 7 or 14 Points
Thanks to Kelly_S for putting this through Master Cook for me http://www.3fatchicks.com/ubb/smile.gif Recipe By : My Mother-In-Law Serving Size : 12 2 cups sugar 3 eggs -- well beaten 1 1/2 cups canola oil 3 cups flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon vanilla 2 teaspoons cinnamon 3 cups pears -- thinly sliced 1 1/4 cups powdered sugar -- sifted 3 tablespoons milk 1. Combine sugar, eggs and oil. Beat well. 2. Combine flour, soda and salt. Add to sugar mixture 1 cup at a time mixing well after each addition. 3. Stir in vanilla, cinnamon and pears. 4. Bake in well-greased tube or Bundt pan 1 hour at 350 degrees F. 5. Mix powdered sugar and milk well. Pour over cooled cake.
