Baked Apple and Graham Cracker Pudding - 3 Points Recipe By :JoAnna M. Lund with Barbara Alpert Serving Size : 8 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Puddings & Custards Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 3 cups cored -- peeled, and diced cooking apples, (6 small) 1/2 cup pourable Sugar Twin 1/4 cup raisins 1 1/2 cups purchased graham cracker crumbs -- or 24 (2 1/2 inch) graham cracker squares -- made into crumbs 1 1/3 cups Carnation nonfat dry milk powder 1 1/4 cups water 1/2 cup Cary's sugar free maple syrup 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray an 9-by-9 inch cake pan with butter-flavored cooking spray. Layer apples, Sugar Twin, raisins, and graham cracker crumbs in prepared cake pan. In a small bowl, combine dry milk powder, water, and maple syrup. Mix well to combine. Evenly pour mixture over top. Bake for 35 minutes. Place cake pan on a wire rack and let set for 5 minutes. Cut into 8 servings. Good served warm or cold. HINT: A self-seal sandwich bag works great for crushing graham crackers. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 9-by-9-inch cake pan with butter-flavored cooking spray. In a large bowl combine baking mix and sugar twin. Apple Nachos Ingredients: 1 C. brown sugar 2/3 C. sugar, divided use 1 C. apple cider 3 T. quick-cooking tapioca 2 T. + ¼ tsp. cinnamon, divided use 1/2 tsp. nutmeg 1/8 tsp. cloves 1/2 tsp. butter flavoring 1/2 C. raisins 1/4 C. sweetened dried cranberries 8 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and diced (1/2-inch) 18 98% fat-free flour tortillas (6 inches each) Butter-flavored cooking spray 2 C. light whipped topping (or vanilla yogurt) 1/4 C. chopped pecans Directions: In a 3 1/2 or 4-quart crock pot, combine brown sugar, 1/3 cup sugar, apple cider, tapioca, 1 1/4 teaspoons cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, butter flavoring, raisins and sweetened dried cranberries. Blend in apples. Cover. Cook on high setting for 2 1/2 to 3 hours or on low setting 6-7 hours. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Cut each tortillas into 6 wedges. This is a variation of an Apple Crisp recipe I have used in the past. I used the MasterCook program to calculate the point value.
7 cups apple sliced, peeled 1/3 cup granulated sugar 2 Tablespoons all-purpose flour 2 teaspoons cinnamon TOPPING: 1 cup quick cooking rolled oats 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon 1/4 cup margarine, imitation 1. In small bowl combine 1/3 cup sugar, flour and 2 tsp cinnamon. Add to fruit and toss. Place in baking dish. 2. TOPPING: Mix rolled oats, brown sugar and cinnamon. With pastry blender or two knives, cut in margarine until crumbly. Sprinkle over fruit mixture. 3. Bake at 350 for 55 minutes or until fruit is barely tender. Serves 6 Points: 4 Fibre - 5 grams Calories - 237 Fat - 5 |

Level flour into measuring cup with a knife. Combine flour, cornmeal, sugar and brown sugar in a bowl; cut in butter with 2 knives till mixture is crumbly. Combine apple and remaining ingredients in a large bowl; toss well. Spoon the apple mixture into an 8" square baking dish or 1-1/2 qt. casserole. Sprinkle with the crumb mixture. APPLE CRISP Serves 8 This old fashioned dessert is good served warm or cold. Hi Girls, here is a good treat once and awhile...only 110 calories per serving, I separate the servings right away into 8 small dishes so my portions are right. You can get carried away if it is all out at once INGREDIENTS 4 c peeled, sliced apples 1/4 c water 1 tbsp firmly packed brown sugar 1 tbsp lemon juice 2 tsp cinnamon 1/2 c oats (quick or old fashioned) 2 tbsp walnuts, chopped 1 tbsp packed brown sugar 1 tbsp soft margarine DIRECTIONS 1) Preheat oven to 375° F. 2) Combine first 5 ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix well. 3) Arrange apple mixture in an 8-inch by 8-inch baking dish that has been sprayed with non-stick coating. Combine remaining ingredients and sprinkle over apples. Bake for 30 minutes or until apples are tender and topping is lightly browned. I found this recipe on the fatfree.com site that someone else suggested I tried. I have no idea what the calories etc are but this dessert contains no fat at all. It is sweet and lovely with either custard or Low fat Greek style yoghurt. Here goes then. :apple: 2/3 cup flour 3 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 4 egg whites 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup brown sugar 3 tsp vanilla 3 cups apples chopped fairly small can leave skins on. Beat eggs. add sugar and vanilla and beat well. Add dry ingredients and mix. Dump in apples and stir until evenly distributed. Bake in deep dish at 350F 180C for 45 mins. Nancy - Here is a recipe that I got off the WW Community swap. My DH LOVES this, and I liked it pretty well myself.
CJ's fried apples servings | 4 estimated POINTS per serving | 1 4 medium semi-tart apples(mcintosh, honey crisp) 1 package butter buds 3 packs Splenda 3/4 tsp cinnamon 1/8 tsp nutmeg 1c. boiled water core, peel and slice apples. put hot water and butter buds in sauce pan and mix. stir in spices and splenda. add peeled, cored sliced apples and bring to boil stirring occasionally. reduce heat and cook for 7-15 more minutes depending on hardness of apples or to taste. Notes: If you are using small apples, use more. I do not care for granny smith with this recipe, although your own milage may vary. do not use sweet soft apples like delicious. you can adjust this recipe splenda and spices to your taste. |

4 cups sliced and peeled apples 1/2 tsp grated orange rind 1/3 cup orange juice 1/2 cup sugar 1/3 cup regular oats 1/4 cup all purpose flour 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg 1/8 tsp. salt 3 Tbsp. chilled light butter ir reduced calorie stick margaarine--cut into small pieces 6 Tbsp. frozen reduced calorie whipped topping Preheat oven to 375. Place apples in an 8 inch square baking pan and sprinkle with orange rind and juice. Combine sugar and the next five ingredients in a bowl and stir well. Cut in butter with a pastery blender or two knives until mixture looks like coarse crumbs. Sprinkle over apples and bake for 40 minutes or until apples are tender and topping is light brown. apple pie 4pts per serving/ 8 servings total 1 cup all-purpose flour 2 tsp sugar 3 Tbsp reduced-calorie margarine, chilled and cut up 2 Tbsp water, or more if necessary 4 medium apple(s), McIntosh, peeled and thinly sliced 1/4 cup sugar 1 Tbsp cornstarch 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon 1/3 cup uncooked old-fashioned oats 5 Tbsp all-purpose flour 2 Tbsp sugar 2 Tbsp reduced-calorie margarine, melted Preheat oven to 400ºF. To make the crust, combine 1 cup of flour and 2 teaspoons of sugar in a large bowl or food processor. Add 3 tablespoons of chilled margarine and process (or mix together with your fingers if you do not have a food processor) until mixture resembles coarse meal. Add cold water, one tablespoon at a time, and process or mix until a manageable dough forms. Press dough into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie plate. Pinch the edges to form a decorative rim; set aside. To make the filling, combine apples, 1/4 cup of sugar, cornstarch and cinnamon in a large bowl; toss to coat apples. Arrange mixture in prepared piecrust. To make the topping, combine oats, 5 tablespoons of flour, 2 tablespoons of sugar and melted margarine in a small bowl; sprinkle over apples. 1 pt 1 serving 1 apple 1 packet of sweetner cinnamon to taste. Cut up apples in chunks in a bowl and put sweetner and cinnamon. Mix together. I used splenda as the sweetner. It is so good and my kids loved it. Next time I'm going to heat it up. Apple pie ww style. Enjoy! |
