Woweeee is it nice outside today, gonna hit 65 degrees.

Boss is out today, he's sick too... man, everyone is sick around here. My throat now has white spots LOLOL...think I'll start naming them LOL. jk
My boss told me to go home and not infect everyone but I can't afford another sick day and since I"m here, I might as well stay...besides, everyone can stay away, I'm in an isolated office.

Sooooo any plans for the week? I really have to get serious with my eating. These past few days were horrible eating wise.

Leenie - I'm so very sorry that you are sick and feeling bad. Maybe you need to go to the doc and see about those "white spots". Doesn't that usually take an antibotic to clear up? I hope you feel better hon! :hug:

it's back to work today. We had a good weekend. Friday we put up the tree and Saturday I did some major cleaning in my kitchen. It is all oak with white ceramic tile. Once a year I take everything off my counters and spray it all down with Clorox, let it sit, and then scrub all the grout with a toothbrush. Doesn't that sound OCDish ;). Anyway, did all that and then wiped down all the wood :faint: and baseboards and just went nuts. Did I mention that we have our 11th and 12th grade Christmas Party this coming Sunday.

Yesterday after church dh and I went and did some Christmas shopping and got our Christmas present. We splurged this year and bought each other a 42" Philips flat screen LCD TV at Sam's and boy is it NICE. We set it up last night and it is awesome. When we built our house in 1995 we built our bookshelves and entertainment center in the living room to accomodate a big screen tv and we finally splurged and did it.

Ok enough rambling - I've got tons of work to be doing.

It is so cold here! -30 c with the wind chill....roads are like skating rinks.

Cathy, I'm glad you splurged and got yourself a nice TV... it is nice isn't it ;) Wow, Christmas party already?? that makes my head spin LOL.

Liz, did you decide what your going to do about work/home? How are you feeling, how are the kids?

I went to the company doc yesterday and she gave me antibiotics, so hopefully it will help. Everyone is sick around here, its just disgusting LOLOL. Maybe its one day of being 70 degrees and the next day being 40.....hmmm.

How was everyone's holiday..mine was TOO good ;) . We were going to just spend a quiet day at home, but we received an unexpected invite from a family in our church. The day was wonderful..but I BLEW IT..BIG TIME food-wise :( . I'm now back up to the 3's :mad: . I'll get back down again.:yes:

Joanne - I am so very glad that friends invited y'all for Thanksgiving. Sounds like y'all had a great time! btw, I have no doubt you'll get those scale numbers back down again. The holidays are a terrible strain on our healthy eating.

Joanne, with all the salt in the TGing food my scale went up too and I didn't think I ate that much, so I bet your retaining too. I'm glad you had a wonderful holiday. How are you today?

Cathy......are ya as pooped as me? garsh what a long week, agonizing to say the least. Boss was in and had no meeting or nothing to do....makes the days veddddddddddy long for me lol.

Nothing much is happening here, sosdd. Its saturday and I'm happy, I'm just gonna clean, relax and try to eat good today.

Hi all I have been away for a while. I have had headaches for a month and I am not really enjoying life lately. I am not doing to bad on the depression side of things except that my kids are driving me crazzzzzzy. I love them but they are both at tough ages and when I am dealing with a headache all the time I do not have the patience that I normally do. My headaches are feeding off themselves. I have sinus issues so I get a sinus headache then I don't sleep very well so I get a headache from being sleep deprived then I have an extra long and rough TOM this month and I get menstral migraines so I don't sleep very well so I get a headache from being sleep deprived, then I go and get stressed out by the kids so then I get a headache. You can see where this is going.....

I am sorry that I have been away too long, just getting a little frustrated with life these days. I am also sure that I have undone all that I did, but I have not weighed myself in a while, but then I don't really want to either. Well that is all of my whining for now. I hope everyone else is doing ok.

Hi everyone, I don't usually post on this thread. I have been put on cymbalta for depression and lunesta for sleep. I started taking these on Wednesday. They are totally wiping me out . I'm sleeping 12-15 hrs. a day. Maybe it just takes time for my body to adjust, but for now I have absolutely no energy. My appetite isn't too great, but I am trying to eat healthy. I haven't excersised since starting these med's. Does anyone else take either of these med? If so, do you have problems with being VERY groggy?

Maybe you can cut out the sleeping tablet if you're having daytime sleepiness - it's worth asking your doctor.
