3 Fat Chicks on a Diet Weight Loss Community - Thought I would indrouce myself in this forum

Hello!

My name is Candice and I live in Vancouver BC Canada. I was born and raised in Southern California though. I moved up here to Canada when i married a Canuck :D
I have been on LAWL for 7 weeks now and have lost 16 pounds so far.

I did not notice this forum till today, I'm glad I did. I am 26 years old and was DX Bipolar at the age of 11. I did not start taking meds until I was 17 though.
I have been on wellbutrin for 9 years now.. and have tried other various meds like paxil, prozac, lithium.. but now have been on Topmax for 5 1/2 years and Risperdal for 4 years. My mood is usually pretty stable but I do not feel I am able to work due to the bipolar and the side effect of the meds. The side effect of the topmax and risperal are things like making me feel like I am spaced out all the time..not able to concentrate..forgetting everything.. But to me it is worth it to not be manic and deeply depressed anymore.
Right now I am mildly depressed due to forgetting my meds one time last week. Now my meds have to adjust all over again.. don't you just had that! I have just not felt like don't anything .. not even really doing the things I love like designing digital scrapbook kits(I own my own shop to sell these and also sell at a few other sites and lately this last week I just don't have it in me to design .. I hope I am feeling better soon!)
