Hope you all had a decent weekend. Mine was okay, finally got to go swimming yesterday when the sun popped its head out of those nasty gray clouds :D

Good morning everyone!

This week is very hectic.
Today I have to turbo clean, then take the boys for a check up. I also promised to take them to the park some time today, but it's just soooo hot!
Tomorrow I'm driving 5 hours to Sonora to visit my grandparents so they could see the boys. They haven't had a chance to see the twins yet, so it will be nice... My grandfather has been very ill these last few weeks. He was hospitalized and expected to pass away very soon, but he made a slight turn for the better, so he's home now. He's been our family's rock forever, and he was my hero growing up. To see him now so weak is going to be really hard.

4boys- Sorry to hear about your grandfather, hope your visit goes well.

As for me I am cleaning house and enjoying the silence! WOOT WOOT both of my girls are at friends houses today and dh is working. There is a thunderstorm starting so that should be relaxing as well. I love the rain:rain:! I have lost two more pounds but I don't want to post it on my ticker yet and jinx myself LOL. But the good news is that I got into my favorite pair of kaki shorts from last summer and didn't have to lay on the bed to zip them up:hyper:. Everyone has noticed the change and that makes me feel like loosing more baby:carrot:!

Well I am a bit bleary eyed today. My DS was up all night sick. Doesn't it just figure that we have to stay up with them all night and then have to get up early with the other one. I swear it was so much easier with just one. :welcome2: Shoelover I am a fellow shoe lover. Hubby cusses my shoes all the time he he. Things are looking up for my friend and may be able to come home in a few days. Thank you all for your prayers and encouragement. Well off to do whatever today.

Busy day today, C and I went back to the chiropractor today, things are amovin!! Then because its payday and mortgage payment is due today we had to do that and of course go shopping :D Boy is that exhausting! While we were gone A and B cleaned the house, it was so nice seeing a cleaned off coffee table and kitchen table and cleaned cages! Makes for a very nice day! I was going to do a liver flush as I've stopped taking my paxil completely last week, but I got home to late to start that. Actually I'm dreading it as I hate the epsom salt drinks.

Trish I'm so pleased to hear that your friend is feeling better that is super news. Sorry about the sick kidlet, its so hard when they are sick. I think C had a bit of a stomache flu the other day.

2bpretty isn't it nice to have the house to yourself. As much as I've loved having A home all this year I am looking foreward to her going to uni in Sept so that I'll have so alone time.

Its gonna be a hot one today, humid and all sorts of stuff like that... luv the summer :) yes hot sticky air and all (never thought I'd say that but I guess thats what age does to yah lol).

Busy day today for me! I've got to get the house cleaned today and the start working on the yard this afternoon, DD's 11th birthday is friday and we are having a big party for her this saturday. Then I have to finish up the rest of the school shopping sunday. Kidos are back in school in less than two weeks WOOT WOOT!!!:carrot: Then I have my other DD's birthday the next week.:dizzy: DH has been working 7 days a week all summer no days off except 4th of July. He gets his first weekend off this weekend :D YEAH!!!

The little guy is doing much better. He is up and playing and all. Just got back from water aerobics and lap swimming. Boy do I miss it when I don't go. Leenie no boss I would have to say whoot whoot!!! n2f2bp I hear you on the house cleaning, I have been doing a ton of that lately myself. My in-laws come in a couple of weeks for my DD's 2nd birthday. They always come for my kids Birthdays, I think that is very nice of them. They have to fly across country to do it. They live in the D.C. area and we are in Idaho so...Cathy I agree with Leenie, slow down the rain sounds like fun though. I always love a good storm. Buddly how nice to have your kids clean house while you are gone and to actually get them to do it.

VERY hot and no rain with high humidity! Been painting and trying to stay cool.

It has been hot here........fans and AC going constantly.....been working lots....have 3 weeks off in Aug........back to school here is the 28th :( I like when they are home...

Today is my cousin's death anniversary. :( Hasn't been a real "Fun" week. Sunday was my Step father's death anniversary. So I haven't really been "myself" this week at all.

Liz - I was was the same way when my boys were younger. I liked them being home and I liked them being off and I liked being out of the routine of school. I found the routine exhausting. btw, I can't keep up with the posts either. I was doing good to read thru the daily posts...so I just do the best I can.

Sassy - I'm sorry it's been a rough week. hugs!

Working from home today. I am also helping out a friend whose little one was sick last night and she just had to go to work today....so I am actually working from her home between showers, meals, snacks and playtime.

Not much new here, I should be doing some cleaning and such, but I'm a huge procrastinator. Its cooled down nicely, they keep calling for rain, but it hasn't happened yet.
Leenie, I found out about the liver flush through curezone, I use to go there when I would go on the master cleanse. I've done about four liver flushes, but I'm not as consistant as "they" say I should be. I thought I was being flakey, but I mentioned it to my friend Priscilla who is very well read on health issues and really up on things. I mentioned it to her when she was telling me about estrogen/liver link (the docs figure her breast cancer was caused from to much estrogen in her system) and she already knew about it, so I figure if she knows about it then I must be on the right track. Cilla is more of a book person for info, where I go to the internet first then like to back things up with books. I've been worried about some liver damage as I've read that paxil can affect the liver's health as well as acetaminophen and I've taken a lot of acetaminophen over the years for migrains and stress headaches. I figure that since its just epsom salts, grapefruit juice and olive oil it shouldn't be harmful. I've never mentioned it to my doctor as many conventional doctors are adverse to home type remedies. I know Cilla is into home remedies and she was advised by the cancer clinic not to add herbs or any other holistic remedies as they want to follow their protocal to the letter and not skew their statistics. Oops sorry this is so long, I've never been able to condense myself and I'm to wordy, sorry.

liz I hope you get to enjoy whats left of the summer. I'm dreading the "fall" smell that will start oh to soon. We don't start school until after labour day.

Going to a family reunion this weekend. I will leave tomorrow. I think that I am on my very last nerve with my 5 year old. He was crying over everything all day. Argh.

Sassy sorry you are having such a rough week. The death anniversaries do get a little easier as the years go by. I have seen too much death of close family and friends to ever think that you are not suffering.

Liz we start even earlier in August. I think the day for us is the 17th and my oldest starts kindergarten this year. BOOHOO

Trish- I hear you on the whiney 5 yr old! My 5 yr old daughter has been that way for several weeks. She is normaly a very easy going kid but boy is she being a brat lately:tantrum:

Busy day tommorow (DD's 11th birthday) and I have to go shopping for birthday party stuff and school clothes. I hate being rushed to shop. At least DH will be there to help, although he has no idea how to shop for any of this ( I think he's just along for the ride LOL).

My bull Mastif is ready to bust with puppies any day now too! I hope it doesn't happen durring her party UHG. Anyway I hope all of you have a great weekend and someone relax for me;).

LEENIE....We live on a lake so she is having a Beach Party Theme! I thought she was getting too old for this party thing but apperantly not. She has planned everything to a tee. She spent two weeks searching the internet for what cake she wants and games LOL! Other DD's BDay is in two weeks and she turns 6, not really sure what she wants her party to be. She wants it at Build A Bear Workshop but WOW that's expensive.

N2F2BP, that a cool theme, good for her..she really sounds like a kid that know what she wants. My DD who will be 5 on the 22nd wants a build a bear too, she loves that place but $$$$ is right. So we'll have a scooby doo party in the back yard with just a couple friends. At her school/daycare we'll have pizza and cupcakes. That enuf imho lolol.

Nothing new today, I'm so glad its saturday. Gotta bring the dog to the vet in 2 hours for a check up and then maybe off to my mom's to drop some stuff off.

Leenie and Not2fat- How lucky you guys are to plan girlie bday parties! I'm stuck with superheroes, dinosaurs, and pirates! I would absolutly squeal with joy if my 6 year old son wanted build a bear workshop party, but he often tells me that's just for girls and filled with cooties.:p

Things here have been crazy, didn't get to visit grandparents, but I probably will next week or so.

Boy what a busy day yesterday, we had family over to swim and the kids were in the pool for 6 hours, then after they left my dd was in for another 2 hours with my DH... they had a blast. It was HOT yesterday and today is supposed to be the same. :)

4b4m - boys can be fun too, your so blessed to have 4 of them. One thing I should have done that I didn't was at least have 1 more child for my dd but Im to old for that soooooooo lol. I grew up with 7 sibblings lol. Enjoy your boys, dinosours are cool.

Nothing much happening except my house is getting messier LOL
