Not much here just TS ALBERTO LOL! SOrry Ia m trying to be light hearted about this storm so I don't get all worked up over it. My anxiety kicked into overdrive lastnight when I woke up to high winds and lightning popping everywhere!:eek: That wasn't even the actual storm. We are supposed to see the storm by this afternoon through tonight. Kids are being unusualy good for a change. Well maybe I spoke too soon now they are fighting:crazy:! Hope everyone has a good day and I hope I make it through the day with these storms LOL.:dizzy:

They finally started putting on our new white metal roof at 6 am this morning. :carrot: Hurricane Rita had messed up our shingled roof and State Farm was great and covered the loss, so we have been patiently waiting our turn to have a friend put our new metal roof on over it. Our house is acadian style with blue vinyl siding and white trim - white shutters, white porch, etc. I'm hoping the house will look good with the white roof on top ???? I'm concerned that it's gonna look a little like a barn haha but dh really wanted a metal roof and was adamant that it couldn't be "black" bec it would be so hot. I'm hoping it looks good and will even help with our electric bill ;) but regardless it will be really nice to have a great roof that should last unless it takes a direct hit from a tornado or something...but let's not go there :nono:

I am extra busy bec I'm getting ready to go out of town next with my mom to Branson, Missouri. She likes to go every year or two and meets family up there. There is no way that she can go by herself, so she gets me to go with her and pays my way. We have a great time but it's hard for me to be gone for a week and I miss my guys terribly. But anyway, I'm just busy busy busy trying to get my ducks in a row at work and home.

Well yesterday I took the kids swimming all day with my sisters (I have 6) their kids and my mom. After I got home and was here for a couple of hours I went to water aerobics (my first class) and came home and went to bed. Today I took the kids on a long walk and then later I think we are going to walk to my sons t-ball game and then I have water aerobics again tonight. I love having the opportunity in the summer to just naturally be more active. I think it helps the kids also. Have a great day and I am feeling good today. The sun is out and I am getting lots of exersise and enjoying life right now.
