Angry Seen some new pics today

Hi guys

I am feeling so low today, I have been stuck around this weight for a couple of weeks and it is pissing me off. I really have not been losing anything since I started incorporating exercise along with my diet it is so frustrating.. GRRR to top it off I went to a staff conference last week and they posted the pics on our intranet at work. I still look hideous, I know I have lost twenty pounds but when I see pic like that it makes me feel so dejected. I should be happy with what I have lost.

Does anyone else feel this way, like they should be farther along than they are? Maybe I will post a few before and after pic to you guys to get some prospective? (it will need to wait until I get home though)

I know the feeling. Pics aren't allowed of me really. I take all the pics around here! Sad though, I'll have tons of my hubby with the kids, but not many of me.

I KNOW I should be further along than what I am. I've been working my butt off and I've gone up and down with the same 5 freakin pounds for 2 months now...that's not progress, even though I feel better physically, and mentally most of the time, but not lately because of this.

20 lbs is such an amazing achievement! If I'd lost 20 I'd be jumping for JOY!!! Girl be proud of what you've lost and what the rest of it come off in it's time!

I'm sure if you posted pics we'd see a difference, even if you didn't! We're much harder on ourselves than others are. If you saw the pics, but didn't know it was you, you'd notice a difference too! It's just that it's YOU...make sense? LOL.

I wish I had lost more. I had the lap band done about 3 weeks ago. Some folks drop huge amts of weight, I've lost between 10-15, depending on the day, weather, hair style, whatever... I understand wanting to be farther along than you are. What helps me is to remember that I didn't get here overnight and I'm not going to be smaller overnight, or in two weeks or two months... it's going to take me years to get where I want to be.

Hope this helps. Good luck to you,

your muscles retain extra water when you work out - so make sure you are drinking LOTS!! Maybe you need to change up your routine or the time of day you work out - sometimes these small changes can get you over that hump.

By your stats, you are doing really well, dont give up!
