Hi jen,
I don't regularly post here but I recognise the moods you describe. For me also, quitting is not an option, even though I would sometimes love to. What hepls me is to take st johns wort tablets (herbal remedy, over the counter in the supermarket around here), and I also practice mindfullness meditation. Very strange, but the meditation trains you to recognise these episodes (you already can do that if I read your posts) and then take a step back and say to yourself that these are just thoughts, and not affecting anything really. like waves do not disturb the bottom of the ocean. Anyway, I can recommend the book "the full catastrophe living" by Kabat-Zinn. good luck, Rabbit |
