As far as food goes, I did see a yummy Paula Dean show with squash this morning, maybe if i tweek it it won't be as fattening as her's looked. Gosh I love that woman LOLOL. She's chubby but I'm surprised she's not 500 lbs the way she cooks.

Food Log:
B- Coffee,ww toast
L-
D-
S-

Speaking of food..... Easter is comming... I gotta make it simple, ham, taters and maybe that squash dish paula made.

Hope you'll all join me on posting your daily log.

Food Log
2 coffee
1 wheat toast with jelly
1 c 2% milk

chips w/ ground meat and cheese and rotel tomatoes
2 cookies

homemade veggie soup
2 hot rolls (yum yum)

and water water water
gulp gulp gulp

hugs,
cathy

Hi pals! Today we went to the city to shop. At lunch we went to Subway and we had that new bistro sandwich. I didn't have the sauce-just extra veggies and it is soooo good. It's so new that they don't have the nutritional values yet. I figured it was better than a hamburger and french fries though. Oh, for breakfast, we had homemade buttermilk-honey bread and softened butter. It is so tasty that it doesn't need much butter.

Did I tell you that we got a recumbant bike? Yup and I like it and R doesn't have to worry about me falling off like I did on the stationary bike. I only have one problem. Since my left foot has no muscle power in it, I find it almost impossible to keep it in the stirrup. So, we went to Home Depot and I bought some webbing and some Velcro. I'm going to sew up a strap to stablilize that foot in the stirrup. Beats duct tape, I guess .

My goal is to work up to 30 minutes every other day on that bike. We also bought a TV and VCR so I won't get bored outa my head on the machine. Golly gee, I must tape Dr. Pill. Errrrr,I mean Dr. Phil .

See you all later. Hugs and smooches. Love this daily chat.

Hey Ladies,

Tippy I'm so glad you got a bike, thats great. Velcro is genious !!
I agree with getting a tv to watch, I have my dreadmill in front of my TV.

Cathy, I ran my butt off today too, around the house that is. I cleaned my kitchen, living room, bathroom, cleaned my van, inside and out which took me a few hours, then I put Easter decorations outside. The weather today was beautiful and I couldn't stand being inside. So I guess you could say I had my exercise for the day lol.

Had soup for lunch and 1/2 cup mac & cheese for dinner w/ acorn squash.

Sweetpea, this thread does not replace the Verb.... everyone is free to post where ever they like. Geepers you keep a log on an excel spreadsheet.... thats great !!

Oh well... back to watching Willy Wonka with DD.... the new one zzzzzzzzzz.

Tippy - that sandwich sounds sooooooooooo good! I will have to check and see if we have them down here yet!

No you did not tell us until today that you got a recumbant bike! that's great! if you get up to 30 minutes a day doing that - well that will be awesome! sounds like the strap for your foot is a good idea! did you not have a vcr before today? or this is just a new one to go in front of the bike? YOU GO GIRL!!!!!!

Hey sweetpea - if you want - why not log your Saturday info on this thread - you know - kind of after the fact or at the end of the day. I know for me I do be "better" if I know I'm gonna be accountable to logging it in somewhere that others will see it.

Leenie - you ought to sleep good tonight!!!!! did you put up that great big inflatable bunny again this year?

I'm fixing to head to bed
later gaters

It's now officially Sunday, but I can still remember everything I ate.

PB&J
Vegetable soup
Bread (regular whole grain)
A few grapes
Sugar free pudding cup
Half of a box of low-cal orange chicken stir fry (approx. 100 calories. I wasn't hungry)
An egg
Two pieces of toast (regular whole wheat)

I had some diet soda and diet iced tea in there somewhere. I'll probably have a glass of milk before bed. I really wasn't all that hungry today, to be honest. When I went out to eat with my friends, I had to order small because I needed money to get into a movie.

As far as exercise, I only got to ride my bike for ten minutes! I was planning on us going to a later movie, and as I was riding my bike to the gym to lift weights, my friend called and said we'd go to an earlier movie. Bleh. I didn't get to lift all week thanks to various things coming up and ruining my plans and I hardly exercised. It's all good, though, I'll get back at it next week. I go back to school next week which will be nice. Whee

Kay that was a little long. I'm too tired and caffinated. Laterz <3
