Exercise and shopping are my favorite relaxation techniques, lol!! My mom thinks meditation is weird, but maybe sometime when I'm home alone I'll try it. What's been most theraputic for my recovery, though, was removing as many unnecessary stresses in my life. Sure, than meant quitting my part time job, opting to make up some classes over the summer, and dropping out of most of my after school things, but I don't mind! I like being able to relax for once. Now that I'm getting better I can start to get into the swing of things and learn how to balance my life a little more.
