Default Coping Strategies

I would like to know what everyone uses in order to cope with the madness that is every day life. I know it is hard to find time for yourself, but what do you do? Do you meditate? Exercise? Yoga? Are there any books you've found particularly motivating or envigorating? I am struggling now more with the stress and anxiety end of things, but I'd like to know what strategies everyone has on a daily/weekly/monthly basis, or even what you've been thinking about trying.

Exercise and shopping are my favorite relaxation techniques, lol!! My mom thinks meditation is weird, but maybe sometime when I'm home alone I'll try it. What's been most theraputic for my recovery, though, was removing as many unnecessary stresses in my life. Sure, than meant quitting my part time job, opting to make up some classes over the summer, and dropping out of most of my after school things, but I don't mind! I like being able to relax for once. Now that I'm getting better I can start to get into the swing of things and learn how to balance my life a little more.

I would love to have time to meditate, I think if you can, its wonderful.

I barely have time to do anything for myself and when I do have time I'm usually to tired to do anything and I freeze.

This summer I plan on doing alot of swimming which will be my exercise/relaxation therapy.

I also go to bed early LOL !!!
