When should I check my weight???

My weight fluctuates throughout the day! When is the exact time in a day you should check your weight...which one of these is right???

Everyone's weight fluctuates during the day. The food and water you eat/drink weighs has weight, plus our bodies are in a constant flux of metabolizing and digesting the food we've eaten over the previous 24 hours. And with women, our TOM (time of month) will cause us to retain water and that shows up on the scale -- as will eating too much salt. This is why many recommend only weighing yourself once a week when dieting.

Personally, I can't NOT weight every day. I need to know what impact the foods I've eat are having on my body. But, I know the scale will go up and down several pounds over the course of the day. I can weigh 3 to 5 pounds more at night than I do when I do my morning weigh-in the following a.m. The times I do get concerned, however, is if my morning weight fluctuates more than 3 to 5 pounds more than my previous low weight. That's when I know I need to make some adjustments in my eating to keep things moving.

I think the best time to weigh is first thing in the a.m. -- after going to the toilet, before eating, and with no clothes on.

I personally would check it once a week, same day, and in the morning. I've heard that, thats your true weight.
