it's official..... on July 14th I will be unemployed involuntarily for the first time in my life. I HATE the Canadian government. i really just want to go hung and binge on some icecream and junk

Yikes. Bad news indeed. Time to take a deep breath and take stock of your situation. Have you considered going to some temp agencies or employment agencies? If you have marketable skills you might find something that way. And contrary to what many people think, it's the employer, not the employee who pays for the service.
