DAILY VERB (Exercise)
Verb is what you do...
It can be a bike ride, swimming, a walk in the mall, weight training, a walk in the park, 1 hour on the tredmill...you get the point. Anything that gets us up and moving. So come on Chicklets.... what did you do today ? :strong: :dance: :ebike: :wl: :tread: . |

Last week's *formal* exercise total time.....4 hours and 3 mins. (aerobics & wt. interval training)
Sunday: 52 mins. of aerobics, and wts......(like the Firm tapes and my urban rebounder using Urbano Latin music mix from cable...) also, stomping around my office.... |
Today, I walked about 4 miles in a about an hour and 15 minutes. My total time for the week is 7hrs more or less, i take a long walk a everyday but friday, not counting any yoga or pilates i may do after my walk.

I got up at 430AM to get my workout in (or it just doesn't get done...the day turns manic before I know it)....

46 minutes this morning! Today I was a 'Firm Believer" and lifted dumbbells with the company of ZZ Topp and The Clash.....(I'm dating myself here--but it's Classic Rock)

Good Morning.
Hit the pavement at 7 a.m...walked 101 minutes .a little over 3 miles with hubby by my sde. We walk past a Lake and saw Geese and their babies.Ducks.one has 9 ducklings.....turtles poking their noses out for air.what a glorius sight! I also enjoy looking at peoples yards and flowers! I am finding the new pedometer WW sells so accurate and cannot beleive I have logged in a journal.my steps,miles and time for 26 days now! The newness of the accurate pedometer has yet to wear off! It is a fun toy! I leave it on after recording and record the miles and steps! :cp: :cp: :dance: :cb: |

i did 40 mins. this morning of interval training and "light" ab work. I can't afford to give up either. I "beat" my time of last week, added on 5 mins to the week's total. |
I'm here !!! I didn't abandon ship, honest. I've been using my treadmill at night. I just have a hard time posting every day, especially when my boss is there.... :(
Good to see you all :D Liz, YES anything counts as a verb, just MOVE. It can be walking in the mall on a saturday, or hiking the biggest mountain. This thread is to just get us to MOVE !!!!!!!!!!!! Verb = its what you do. Sea, good to see you too. Cathy, Marble, Cin, Liz !!! YOU GO GIRLS !!!!! Cin, planning counts as long as you follow thru.... :s: lololol. This weekend will be cleaning AND treadmill, maybe a walk into town since the traffic will be slower this holiday weekend (main roads and boy are they busy at times). How about YOU !!!! |

ok I was not gonna let the first day of June pass without me getting in some miles, so after work I put on my walking shoes and walked our 2 mile block in 30 minutes in the HOT HUMID 90 DEGREE weather of Louisiana!!!

Last night I did an additional 10 mins. on the ellip. bike and a set of step-ups with wts.....8 reps, each leg.
This morning (at 6AM) I did 53 mins. of interval training/aerobics..... (I'm trying to step up the pace a bit) |
Im new!!! Hi everyone!! I didnt make it to the gym this morning, but I am going after work... But last night I went for a walk for 1 hour and vacumed the whole house, dishes and floors, the wood floors. Wait does house work count?? I was busting my rear end last night....

June 1...walked 3 miles
June 2...walked 3 miles June 3...walked 3 miles......................1/2 way thru walk saw a turtle as big as Texas......walked home fast as I could to get digital camera for picture..took several. Now hubby went back to take "better" ones~ :lol: :wave: :wave: :wave: :wave: :wave: :wave: :wave: :wave: WW pedometor is 23.95................still facinated with its accuracy!Use it daily to measure steps time & miles! |
Today I did 24 mins. of "body sculpting" (and 5 mins of fantasizing that I got my waistline back in place.....but I guess that doesn't count)....my tail is draggin' today.

One hour on the treadmill with a Paul Wilber Messianic Praise tape. His music is energizing! He helps me get my head in shape while I get my body in shape!

Today I walked on the treadmill for only 16 mins and stationary bike for 9 mins and 220 crunches and 40 mins of upper body weight training.... this morning dragged my rear to the gym... man I feel like a million bucks! amazing what a decent not even good work out can do for ya!! FRIDAY!! YAY!
