Hi Cathy
Long time no see huh??? I am sorry....I kinda quit for awhile...didnt diet or even think about journaling...forgive me???
I went back up to 162 but as of this morning I am down to 156 again....and it only took 7 days Love the South beach diet girl It will slow down now but it sure gave me the jumpstart I needed. Your food log looks awsome by the way

Breakfast- carb smart yogurt
lunch- chicken breast and squash
supper- 2 94% lean beef patties and low fat cheese, with more squash
snack- sf jello and a dab of whipped topping, and maybe a sf fudgesicle

Hey Christie!
It's sooooooooooo good to see ya! nothing to forgive girlie! you just jump in anytime you want to. Everybody needs a break from the journaling and even thinking about the diet - I totally understand that!

Are you telling me that you lost 6 lbs in 7 days on South Beach? WOW! that's awesome! my sister just started SB on Monday, and my mom just ordered the book. they want me to do it with them - I will see - I'm thinking about it - but I really think I'm eating a whole like South Beach and Sugar Busters already. I guess I need to read the book.

Christie - I was wondering....do you have any idea how many calories a day you are eating? I was just curious. it doesn't look like all that many really and was just wondering.

It's good to have ya back!

hugs,
cathy

Hey Cathy
To be honest I have no idea how many calories I am consuming all I know is that I am not even close to hungry .... I cannot believe that in 8 days I have lost 8 pounds !!!!! That is just mindboggling to me I know it will soon slow down but man do I love it Your menu looks pretty close to phase 2 of the diet, How are your losses on it???

Today was
Breakfast- 2 eggs and 2 slices turkey bacon
lunch- 2 eggs and 1 slice turkey bacon
snack- 15 peanuts
supper- the insides of 2 tacos and pinto beans
too full for more

Hey Christie,

I'm so glad you're not hungry. It is the pits being hungry. But it just doesn't look like all that many calories - seems like you would be hungry girl! I'm hungry on 1200, but I've been reading that birth control pills increase your insulin levels which make you hungry, so maybe that is the problem.

My scale is up 5 lbs - no losses for me - I've been struggling with my weight for years, but I have a low thryoid so I'm just SPECIAL. But I'm eating healthy, drinking water, and exercising, and that is all I can do really.

Hope you have a great day!

hugs,
cathy
