Hello Ladies!

When I said I gained my weight back that I may have loss during the stress of finals... I think the scale lied :?: Because I weighed myself this morning and I'm still what I was before... 356lbs Strange. Not that I'm complaining LOL You know I even went so far as to trace my feet onto the scale LOL because it seems like everytime I step on it I get a different weight depending on where I stand... does that sound right or have I been standing in the sun to long? Either way I'm happy :) That still means I have 6lbs to loose by my birthday actually I wanna loose it before I leave for the vacation I am taking for my birthday hehehe... Lets see, 6lbs in eww 9 days. Okie well I guess that might be a hard one. Lets just make this my goal. Not to gain any weight while on vacation. That's a better one LOL.

Cathy what is dirty rice?

Basmati rice is an aromatic rice......you use one cup rice-double the water....about 1/2 tsp salt per cup or so........cook slowly..(after washing in cold water).....once it starts bubbling turn down and cook slowly once almost all the water is gone add one heaping tbsp of butter oil or butter and turn the heat right down and add the lid-----after 5 mins turn the heat right off and leave the rice stand for 10 mins. Serve plain or with yougurt and your fav spicy meal.

Boy oh Boy was it a hot one here today.Actually it started off at a decent temp but then a storm came in and rolled out but made it muggy as all get out.BIL is doing so well.They removed the trach and he is speaking.He is also eating solid foods now.July 1st they will be moving him to a nursing home to continue his therapy.His memory fades in and out and he is walking up to 20 feet with a walker.The doctors said its 110% turn around since two weeks ago.He is dressing his upper body, shaving, and only needs one nurse to help get him in bed.

We have been packing and trying to figure out what is going to new apt or goes to storage.Our lease starts July 1st but we told them we will be out of this apartment in about a week and half.Thats so they can come in and clean and do repairs because they have someone wanting to rent the apartment already.Thank goodness we are moving right around the corner.This new apartment is like the one we lived in before we moved in with BIL.

I am so wiped out from all this.Eating pretty good even though TOM is right around the corner.
