What do you like about yourself and or what have you done today to make you feel better?


TODAY: MAY 12th

I like my height :lol:

Today I am wearing a bright blue shirt and plad blue to match pants, it makes me happy to see bright colors.

My engagement ring isn't "cutting" my finger off today & my face is FINALLY clear again! Those two things always make me happy!

Plus, I'm comfortably wearing blue jeans that I couldn't even fasten 3 weeks ago.

What I like about me is that I can find humor anywhere ,anytime and most of the time! Also like looking on the bright side most of the time.........but I will not take the credit for it..it is Christ in me! ;)

To make myself feel better, today i made sure I'd had five -- count 'em, FIVE -- servings of veggies.

(I always feel better when I get enough veggies. :))

Well, if you have to think about it for more than 15 minutes is that a problem? :D .

I like the fact that I am very determined. Once I put my mind to something I will not be stopped. Nothing will stand in my way. I don't give up no matter how difficult it may seem or how many people say I can't do it.

Unfortunately... A lot of people say that is what they like least about me :D . But that doesn't stop me either. :lol:

Gosh, I haven't seen this thread before today.
wonder how I missed it???

like about myself? I like my blue eyes (just wish I didn't have to cover them up with glasses). I also like that I try to be a postive person and find the bright side of things (most of the time).

done today to make myself feel better? I put on my makeup and did my hair. I do that almost everyday but it sure makes me feel better when I dollup and get to get that "natural look". ;)

WHAT DO I LIKE?..........................

hot days and rainy nights

laughing until my side hurts

remembering the birth of my children

sleeping in

busy shifts at work

holidays where someone else does all the cooking and cleaning

real conversations

reading a great book

the daily journal and a hot cup of coffee

a cold beer after an afternoon in the garden

my kids smiles

Today: Tuesday, May 18th

Lets see, today, to make myself feel better I am going to find a therapist to help me with my eating problems, I just found out that we have 8 FREE sessions thru our company :D :D :D :D Gotta understand why I do what I do.

I ate 1 hard boiled egg and 4 slices of tky bacon, Tummy Feels Good !!! I'm drinking my hazelnut coffee as well.

I like............

the fact that I drank water yesterday

that I visited my dd 12 at track yesterday and she was having fun

that my dd's love the water and and enjoy swimming so much

that I have friends who touch base with me on a regular basis

the sound of my dd 12 playing piano by ear as I type this

the successes of everyone on Dr.Phil yesterday

the fact that if you exercise for one year you can program your body into thinking you have been exercising for ever

Today I like..... my real fingernails.

and to make myself feel better I'm gonna go walk at the mall during lunch for exercise.

TODAY MAY 19th

I am wearing a new bright aqua blue shirt with a white stripe and white shoes w/white pants, boy do I feel summery, crisp and clean ;)

I also did wonderful eating yesterday which makes me feel good today.

My first therapy appt is next Tuesday :D :D :D so I'm excited and scared.

Leens don't worry.......therapy is great!

My pc is up and running

I have been up to spring cleaning for the past couple days

That I have made the effort to arrange play dates for my dd6 after kindergarten

That I spent the eve shopping and going to a play with dd12

That my husband has been missing me :)

Today I love that I am healthy. I love my nails b/c they are painted a pretty dusty mauve. I love that my DD said she loved me b/4 I left for work :D

I love that I'm doing pretty well eating and I feel good.

I love that I have exercised 2 days in a row without one moment of "resistance", I love that I ate on program yesterday, and I love that my hubby was extra snuggly last night which he hasn't been in a long time.

I thought I'd bump this back up to the top since it's been a few days since we posted on this one.

What do I like about myself today? My teeth are a little whiter. I've just finished my first box of Crest Whitening Strips and they have helped.

What have I done today to feel better? I got up early and did a 45 minute WATP 3 mile tape before getting ready for work! Boy do I feel great!

I was up and showered before 0730 even though I worked an evening last night and usually drag my butt in the morning after getting the kids off to school...........

I had my first and only mammogram today and it wasn't so bad.......and it was not due to a suspected CA

I got my lab work drawn today that I have been putting off for weeks 'cause I'm just like that

My hubby called me this morning to see how my morning was going even though last night he admitted he dreads calling me in the morning as I am usually dragging my butt these days.....and I was out and about to boot~

I arranged a play date for my dd 6 as she is so bored in the afternoons now after kindergarden.

Yes I do like all that!
