Freezing Friday - Chat - Feb 6th
 

Good Morning Everyone,

Yup its freezing rain, snow and sleet outside today OY, makes the commute sooo much longer, but I thank God I am here safe.

Whats going on this weekend ? anything fun and exciting ?

Tomorrow we are going to see the inlaws and then Sunday is my relax day. I went to bed at 8:30 last night, I was just sooooooo tired. I am feeling runned down this week and its not even close to TOM. OY. But not depressed :)

Well Leenie, we are glad you made it work safe and sound too! Sounds like a mess up there! I hope the extra sleep helped! sometimes you just gotta try and catch up a little! Does Little Gracie go to bed that early too or did she stay up with daddy?

Lynnie - I hope you have a great day today, whatever comes your way.

I've got a zillion checks to write, and then to run do banking, and see about my mawmaw at lunch. After work I have some errands to run and have no idea what is going on at my house tonight, but with teenagers there is never a dull moment.

Tomorrow our youngest son is taking the ACT for the first time, so will have to get him to the school where they are giving the test waaaaaaaaay before 8. Then I plan to get home and get in a good work out, and need to color my hair, and then pick him back up at noon. I should clean tomorrow but I'm not worrying about it - there is always next week. I will just make beds and wash clothes (since I do that everyday anyway) ;) Sunday is church and a baby shower.

I'm so glad to see so many people posting on the daily food log!

Ok I need to get to work, but I will check back later.

Good Morning Gals,
I slept until 7:45 which is real late for me! I feel nice & rested too!

We placed an ad in the paper to sell a lot of office furniture and supplies that are still in the garage from the move............so we are expecting some activity from that and hopefully some $$$$$ and clearer space by the time the week-end is over. :)

I have already made some sugar free jello for later and am baking some low point pumpkin muffins for the week-end and freezer. I love to plan ahead when time permits...then I have things prepared to look forward to when I am too tired to think!

Tonight we have a Leadership meeting at church and tomorrow I am going with a bunch of friends to see "Calendar Girls" and then we are going to Chili's for supper.....a real "girls day" out! We laugh like fools and have fun when we get together!

Sunday after service is a potluck for our age group! I will try to come up with a wonderful low cal something.....hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...not sure what yet! :s:

Now you all know more than my husband does about the week-end plans! :lol:

In other words I am going to ENJOY myself all week-end! ;)

I feel so awful today. I managed to get 15 mins of exercise in even though I was feeling bad. I tried to do more I just couldn't today :(

Hey Lynnie! hey 15 minutes is 15 minutes! that's awesome to get done when you are not feeling good. so be proud of yourself!

I'm glad yesterday is over! :D

My house was full of fattening food. It was DH's birthday, so I made LASAGNA, CHOCOLATE CAKE, and Caesar Salad with FULL FAT DRESSING! DH enjoyed it :D , but I'm glad it's gone now!

Leenie: Be careful in the YUCKY weather :p I think I'd rather have a foot of snow than 1/4" of freezing rain/sleet. Thank God for the weekend!

Lynnie: Exercising when you're feeling lousy=DETERMINATION! :strong:

Cathy: :dizzy: Boy, you've got a lot going on! How are MawMaw and PawPaw doing? Good luck to your DS on the ACT.

I haven't posted for a couple of days, but I've been lurking. Things at home vary from day to day. My DS MIGHT :crossed: have a job coming up, but he also has TRAFFIC COURT coming up next Friday :( . Wednesday night I had a "Light Bulb" moment. I had already made a casserole for dinner; but we were rushed as usual, so I saved it for after church. DS was in one of his "moods", and he managed to talk Dad into taking him to BK to buy his own dinner. I didn't wait until my husband got home. I took a large portion of chicken & rice and started shovelling it into my mouth :( I actually almost ended up choking! I wasn't hungry-I was upset :cry: I'd been talking with DS's friend's mom earlier, and she was sharing about how much her son has changed for the better. Part of me was happy for her, but part of me was heart-broken. Why does our son keep going from crisis to crisis? :dunno: The GOOD thing about this was that I've FINALLY realized that I have a serious problem. I talked to DH about getting some counseling, and he agreed. I've already started going to OA online meetings, and I've worked out a food plan (now that all the goodies are gone). With GOD's help, and the support of all of you, I CAN DO THIS! :D
