New , feeling lost

Hi , well where do I begin. I was diagnosed with General anxiety and ADHD/add combination this year , at 32 years old!!!! Well I started Zoloft 50 mg in May and noticed my weight increase . Now , I’ve been heavy (220) and my weight before Zoloft was 143 and I live an active lifestyle. I increased my activity and did efficient workouts , ate well but still my weight won’t budge ! I’m not at 158 and feel like **** . My clothes don’t fit . I bust my *** every day . I run 20-35 miles a week and i weight lift . Nothing that i do changes it or my body composition. Im weaning off Zoloft and my doc has agreed to put me on Effexor ( I’ve seen all the bad on it ) any of you on it ? Or have found something that works ? Meds ? Workouts ? Programs ? Oh I’m also on Adderall which you’d think I’d loose or maintain my weight right ? Nope !

Hey La Jefa, i'm sorry to hear that you are feeling lost. I have been there too. It's crap. I am on medication and have gained another stone this year. So I've decided to lose the weight now. I'm drinking lots of water and just went for my first walk today lol so doubt i've lost anything yet. But i'm excited to get healthy. If you want to chat or need a weightloss buddy add me as a friend and we can whatsapp if you want :) Good luck with your journey :) Tara
