Wellbutrin

I am wondering if anyone has added wellbutrin to their anti-depressant. My pdoc just added the wellbutrin to my celexa. I am scared of more weight gain and lethargy. Any insights?

Bupropion *generally* doesn't cause weight gain or lethargy, and I can anecdotally contribute that it has caused neither for me.

My doc added webutrin a year or so ago and I haven't had any negative side effects from it. That's not to say it doesn't happen but there's less of a chance with this drug. We've recently upped my dosage of it and reduced my dosage of zoloft and I'm feeling really good. For the first few days until my body adjusted I was really perky and had a very reduced appetite. My husband really liked the perky girl... I really liked the reduced appetite LoL.

I was on wellbutrin for a while and while I know its different for everyone it actually I think helped me manage my appetite and I lost a few pounds. The only downside is when I came off the medicine, I gained weight (I think I quit prematurely so a lot of that was emotional eating) But like I said it ranges for everyone.
