I just want to put a shout out to all of our teachers out there. I work in the school system and am aware of the stress our teachers are under. In the past several years, with the emphasis placed on standardized testing, I have seen many caring veteran teachers become demoralized in their profession. The pressure on our new teachers to perform, sometimes with few resources and inadequate support, is intense. I have the utmost respect for you teachers. Thank you for what you do.

I am a collenge student...and let me just say that, at 17/18, I didn't appreciate my teachers as I do now. Now, I look back on even those whose feathers I ruffled with nothing but respect and admiration. I truly believe my teachers made the single most positive difference in my life aside from my mama!
I feel for those teachers who struggle with limited resources and overcrowding, as well as apathetic parents. Stay strong ladies and gents, the world needs you! :)
