Anyone Else On Cipralex?
 

Hi there,

I have been on 20mg Cipralex for nearly one year now, in that year I have gained 30lbs. Although I don't believe it is the medication making me gain weight per se, I have a feeling the medication makes me very complaisant to just sit.

I have been trying to get back "on tack" and re lose this weight because it only makes me more depressed to be this big. However I am finding it so challenging to get myself motivated to do anything. I am also finding that since I started the medication I am having a problem with self control, I seem to give in to my cravings more quickly. This might be in my head, or just a coincidence it started around the time of the medication.

I am just wondering what kinds of things, if any, you noticed with this medication.

I feel like my Prozac is making me want to just sit around...need more naps etc. And I sincerely don't think it's in my head.
