Depressed? Na. Just a lil scared...
 

Hey, I used to be on this site before but I got caught up with boyfriend drama and workin 6 days a week, so I quit on my weight-loss efforts.
[and I was doing so welllllll...:(]

I haven't told any of my friends but my dad recently passed away and more than ever I just want to shred the pounds. He was such a stubborn hard-working man that I am ashamed to look at myself, like how could he look down on me and be proud.

This may sound stupid but I just want him to be proud of me, and this is the start.

Also, let me say that, while I didn't know your dad, I expect that his pride in you would have gone way beyond any physical appearances. Your dad was and is proud of you because you are you.

Having said that, like all parents, I'm sure he would want you to be healthy and happy with your life and in that respect I'm sure he'll be even prouder as he watches down on you as you make the commitment and follow through on it to change your life and become a healthier you! :hug:
