Do any of you feel worse after you've had a great time? It's like all the happiness is used up, and I just feel bleh. Or maybe it's more of a "Well that was nice, but it's over now. What do I look forward to now?"

unpretty 12-02-2011 04:23 AM

I do feel that sometimes but not necessarily because I'm like "now what", its just because.

Its currently 8:22pm here in sydney and I feel very sulky atm, because I'm scared that I wont lose any more weight, and even if I do I'll still be fat.

Do you think its cause you used up all your endorphin and serotonin? I know after having a fun day I would feel drained and just need to hide away for a little bit to 'recharge'. But then again I am an introvert and still have the occasional fatigue from my thyroids.

I think no one can last long in a constant state of happiness.

That may be the case, DesertTabby. I never thought of it like that. It just feels like I'm mostly never happy, and when I am happy I'm too happy (if that makes sense) to the point of being a little spazzy. lol. And then when whatever it is, is over I feel depressed.

Ok no, before at 8:22pm I was just a little sad. Now its midnight and I'm super depressed and losing the will to live.

That sounds serious...time to see the doctor?

Does it always come on strongly at night? What about during the day?

I'm sorry you're feeling that way. It might sound stupid, but just try to go to sleep. Maybe you'll feel better when you wake up. Sleep deprivation could be adding to your depression. I know it does to mine. Hope you feel better, unpretty.

it depends on the day I've had. If i've had a relatively good day, usually I'm not that strongly depressed at night. Yesterday I didn't have a good day, but it wasnt THAT bad either. Thats probably why I felt so depressed at night.

I have depression and I am losing weight. I take Cymbalta 90mgs. I suggest that you see someone so that they can get something to take and then someone to chat with to help you figure out what is wrong. It will be ok. Honest.
