Luvox (generic name Fluvoxamine) weight gain anyone?
 

I've been on Luvox off and on since it came out in the 90s. I have agoraphobia, panic, and OCD which is basically obsessions rather than compulsions, except that I'm a hoarder (working on changing that).

I take 100 mg which my psych doc claims is a "baby dose" but I've gained so much weight - 50 lbs. or more, I sure don't want to increase it.

Too much stress in my life to attempt to get off it now, though I hope someday I can, or at least decrease it.

Might also mention that I was diagnosed with PCOS at age 23, had total hysterectomy in 2008 (ovaries removed too) and am Insulin Resistant. Tried Metformin but seemed to gain rather than lose on it, too.

Any other "Luvox Ladies" out there want to share?
