Hi everyone, I'm new here!
 

Just want to say Hi to everyone out there.
I'm glad to find a web sight like this for people with depression so we can find support. I recently talked w/my Dr. about depression, it was so difficult to do.
I live in California, in a high desert area. Married for almost 18 years and have 2 children, girls ages 15 & 11.

Glad you found us... some days its busy in here and others its like a ghost town.

I know what you mean about talking to your Dr. about depression. I think I balled for about an hour before she could understand what I was saying.... its a difficult thing to admit to yourself.. I mean I always knew it but thought naaah not me.

I have a little girl too, she's only a year. Yours are teens WOW...

I'm at work during the day so its hard for me to post like I'd like to....

Hello and welcome. Many, many people have depression and it is just like any other illness. I hang out here a bit. I'm a wife of 23 years, a mother of two grown people and a grandma.

Glad you found us here! Keep in touch and let us get to know you. I have lots of ups and downs in life and sometimes it is just nice to know that I am not the only one!

I am married and have a 10 year old and 4 year old daughter. My son died 6 1/2 years ago when he was 2. Don't like to leave him out when I am speaking of my children. I work part time as a nurse and really enjoy it....my favorite place is in one of my kids hugs!

Welcome to this site. I too have depression. I have gained over 100 lbs. since I have been on antidepressants. I am now on wellbutrin and I actually lost weight when I started taking it and it has alot less side effects than any other.
I have 3 daughters 18, 12, 15:yikes: they are at that really hard age. but I love them. Tell us a little bit about your goals. I think you will like it here.
